Wee Shack

Found this in the local guide when staying in Morro Bay. Really like the vibe of this place!
Their wee burger 🍔 is a better homemade version of and in and out burger to me. Comes with lettuce, tomatoes 🍅, pickles and onions 🌰. They also have a mayonnaise based special sauce. Like the way they flavored it and it's not over cooked and hard.
Their hand cut frnch fries 🍟 are absolutely delicious! Makes me wish that they had their homemade shakes, which they currently did not.
We ate outside in a nice quit covered area. The staff was amazing as well. Friendly and courteous. Really enjoyed this place and would recommend it to anyone 👌. Will definitely be coming back here when in town!

Split a burger between three of us after we saw the sign saying Business Insider ranked them #36 in the USA. Absolutely delicious! The chili dog was tasty too. Jalapenos were super flavorful as well. 100% recommend this restaurant. Has a friendly family atmosphere

Wee Shack was amazing. The burgers were a little expensive but the quality justifies the price. The meat was very high quality and the Patty was thick. Our party had 4 different kinds of burgers and all were just fantastic variations on the basic Shack Burger. The fries seemed exactly like In-n-Out. They had good beer on tap at the bar area. There was a nice outdoor courtyard. The butter toffee cookie we got to-go was also delicious. The service was friendly and relatively fast.

I tried the shack burger and it was so yummy. The fries were also good. But that burger ugh amazing. Would definitely go again to try a different one!

Excellent Burgers (I had the John Wayne - a tasty Chipotle sauce and a juicy patty topped with a crispy beer battered onion ring) and delicious fries that are hand cut daily - cooked to perfection, not undercooked like that one famous hand cut fry place. They have a good selection of beers on tap, non alcoholic beverages, and hand made shakes. I will be back.

Business insider says it’s part of the top 50 burgers in the country, I say it’s the top 10 in the county and number 1 in the stomach! Best burger in slo county and in flavor town.

As a couple of reviews note, this place is a bit pricey for a burger joint; we paid $36 for two burgers and two orders of tater tots. But the quality is excellent. We had the Shack and John Wayne burgers and both were fresh and flavorful. Toppings were also fresh and the tots were delicious. Recommended.

John Wayne burgers were Awesome... Crispy onion rings and fried mushrooms with homemade ranch.... Can't beat it... Highly recommend... Will be coming back here again.

Morro Bay's hidden gem. I feel sorry for all those visitors to the nearby Taco Bell who don't realize they are just a few steps away from the tastiest burger ever! A good selection of gourmet burgers, hot dogs and salads washed down with a beer of your choice inside or out back on their delightful unpretentious patio. My favorite is the Beach Bum Burger with local Morro Bay avocado, fries and Firestone 805 on tap.

I ordered a regular shaq burger, fries, and a chocolate shake. The taste of the hamburger is amazing, but I would definently suggest the shake. It was one of the most high quality shakes I have eaten.

First of, Wee is a super friendly guy. We had a nice conversation about motorcycles and scooters and even looked up places for me to stay while I was passing by. The food was amazing. One of the best burgers I've had in a while, and the fries were nice and crispy. I had a pretty good experience here, and whenever I pass through Morro Bay I'll definitely stop and eat there.

Oh my GOD. The "Blue Moon" might be the best hamburger I've ever had in my whole life.

Very Tasty! First time eating here and was not disappointed, and very good onion rings 👌 Ordered on the phone to go, and that was easy! The only thing I would suggest is placing the burgers in a container so they don't get squished, but squished or not, it was still very good!!

This place has the most phenomenal burgers and sandwiches (honestly, the fries weren't great)! The pastrami sandwich and beach bum burger (I added sprouts on mine) were some of the best we've ever had! We've only been here a for a few days, and already had them twice (and will probably grab it once more on our way out of town). Seriously incredible!

This place is delicious. We try the fried mushrooms +5 starts, mushroom burger +5 my husband and my son really love that burger, I try the chic burger OMG haven't eaten a most delicious chicken burger before just the smell and flavor was a +5 plus start, their fries are 100% natural and the chicken tenders were delicious as well. We recommend 100%.

Wee shack is great! The owner is fun and charismatic, and the burgers are great. I will say that the fried mushrooms are good, but they are a little on the salty side. I will definitely come again!

This place is absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and juicy, the style of each burger is unique unto itself. Truly delightful, knock it back with fries a tasty beer, soda or water and you're set. You can't ho wrong with any selection. 👍🍔🍟

Amazing! Came to Morro Bay for the first time, and ordered take out. The burgers and fries are delicious. It is a bit pricey. The employee was very friendly. When I go on vacation here, I definitely will come here again.
