Pleasant Inn

This quaint place was cozy, quiet and close walking distance to the shops and restaurants (we could see the bay from our window).
The management couldn’t have been any more accommodating.
The bed was incredibly comfortable- we fell fast asleep with the sea breeze through our window. The kitchenette was convenient for us, nothing fancy but everything worked.

The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and very friendly and helpful. It isn't a far walk to the bustling part of the wharf. A new project was underway to provide a walkway for pedestrian traffic and once completed, I think it is going to really make commuting that much easier.

Jessica was an absolutely fantastic manager! We were contacted the day of our check in to see what our arrival time was and she offered an after hours check in for our convenience. Had no idea their offices closed early so that was very convenient.

The motel has plenty of street parking and our room was clean with plenty of room amenities. Fridge, microwave, ironing board, USB charging stations, bath and body works toiletries in the stand up shower.

Location was perfect as well! Walking distance to the pier and especially Giovanni's and there's a bar just up the street that has live music on the weekends.

Not sure if it was off season but the rates are phenomenal for the location and room design! Thank you again, Pleasant Inn, for a pleasant stay. :)

I cannot say enough good about this place. The room was by far the cleanest I have ever stayed in, it was decorated so nicely, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. The office was very communicative and accommodating of my late check-in time. Had zero issue getting checked in or out. They are also incredibly pet friendly. The manager and my dog absolutely loved each other, and she was kind enough to give me an extra blanket to help make him comfortable. I could not have hoped for a better stay for my birthday trip and I don't plan on ever going to another hotel in the area.

Our trip to Morro Bay was wonderful! The service we received at The Pleasant Inn was more than pleasant. We were treated as family. Everyone and everything met our expectations. It is located in a perfect spot. Walking distance to anything we wanted to enjoy. The room was very clean with quiet surroundings. Nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. Quaint kitchenette area. We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday and loved our upstairs "apartment." What a wonderful view, just one block from all the happenings near the water. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff provide outstanding customer service. We really appreciated the full kitchen and fridge and dishwasher. Thank you, we expect to return in the future.

The room is adorable and clean.
For the bathroom is small size but it isn’t the big deal, I think the size of the layout is ok.

So quaint and clean. We had the family room with 3 beds. The beds are very comfortable. 1 king 1 full and 1 twin. Office staff are very friendly and helpful. They will make reservations for dinner or activities on the embarcadero. We are staying for 3 days and have reservations for our next trip also. Highly recommend to everyone.

Staff friendly, room was cozy and clean! Dog friendly! Kitchen is small and cute, the bathroom is small just fyi. Also rooms do not have ac so if it gets stuffy then you must open windows, and windows do not have locks... but definitely nice place to stay for price. Ive stayed in area at different hotel and the bed was awful, here at pleasant inn it was cozy! Will come back to this hotel!

Very surprised at the value of this Inn. Front staff was super friendly and accomodating. Location is prime; within walking distance to everything. Was upgraded to kitchenette room and it was large and clean. Bed was massive and super comfortable. Great value and a clean, quiet stay. Thank you!

This was the only motel I could find that had 3 beds in one room! There was a queen, a double and a twin... Just perfect for our extended family. And a big plus, it's only a short two blocks from downtown Morro Bay. Everything was so clean and groomed, also, the parking is right out front of the rooms. There was a handy charging hub near the TV too. Ariel was the attendant when we arrived and he took care of our requests for an additional bottle of water, a bottle opener and another coffee package and was very pleasant about it all. We'll stay there again.

We only stayed one night but wish we’d stayed longer. We arrived to a tastefully and generously decorated room that had been staged by the staff with birthday decor including balloons, sparkling cider, chocolates and a personalized birthday card. The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel was in great vicinity to the Morro Bay strip. From our room we were serenade by the local seal population which is highly active both day and night! We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pleasant Inn staff.

What a treat, a short walk to ocean and the harbor, lined with a variety of places to enjoy food n drink.
Ariel at the front desk took the time to open a couple of units, we decided to go with the kitchen unit. He was very (Pleasant), accommodating and made our stay very a great time. With the clean rooms and great service we recommend a stay at the Pleasant Inn!

We stayed in rooms # 2 that had a king size bed with a kitchen that had everything you needed including pots and pan, and utincels. Also, had a fridge, microwave, and a back door through the kitchen. There was a flat screen, coffee maker, plenty of towels. Morro bay had it's farmer's market the weekend we were there (which was the next block up) and we bought everything we needed to make a great breakfast for the next day. The motel was 2 short blocks away from the water. Sandy was the best hostess we have ever at any motel we have stayed at. She made us feel very comfortable and at home. I highly recommend staying here. Loved this place! Thanks again Sandy! :)

Whe had a delightful stay there.
The town is gorgeous and there's bikes available at the reception for a ride on the shore (sunset is breathtaking).
We even had a surprise for our honeymoon, when, returning from the restaurant there was a greetings with our name on the neon sign and a bottle to celebrate at the door of our room.
The place is lovely renovated and decorated.
This small family business has it all, and will make sure that your stay will be (more than) pleasant.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and every time the service is the best I've had at any hotel period. The front desk is always extremely friendly, especially Lacy and Jen and ready with suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Also the complimentary bikes are a definite plus. We will keep coming back.

Genoa and her team treated us like royalty. They helped negotiate best price for us and were super accommodating. My husband and I are keto people so we really enjoyed having a functional kitchen. Great place, great location, great staff!!! Highly recommend!

This little gem of a place is so quaint and welcoming. It's just what you would want in a sea side town. A hostess that was more than welcoming and accommodating. The place was adorable and very well maintained. The room was very updated in style and usage of space. I would definitely stay here again or longer if I had the time.
