Bay View Inn

Gosh some of the reviews weren't that great so I didn't know what to expect Boy was I shocked Just the cleanest little room! I had both my dogs in there, the room smelled clean and fresh, the linens were clean and fresh. The towels were clean and fresh The place was spotless, and it's right on the boardwalk! it's adjacent to everything and they allow pets! Pet parents this is a five-star must stay if you're going to be in Morro Bay! Just the nicest people, the owner was just so helpful! I was on a fishing trip and had to check out a few hours later and they were so nice and so helpful! Just one of the best places I have ever stayed. *****

Quaint hotel with wonderful hosts and good amenities. Quiet, beds comfortable, room updated and clean. We love the location, ease of parking and check in. The location is superb. Great patio area with updated tables and chairs. Ice machine is solid and easy to find. Our favorite place in Morro Bay!!!

A wonderful little hotel a block away from the "main drag." We had an easy check in and check out. The woman running the desk was very friendly and welcoming. The parking lot was a bit small but otherwise fine. Everything was perfectly walkable, but be prepared for the uphill climb back to the hotel. 🤣 I would stay here again. Highly recommended, and a very cute town. Check out the patisserie (French bakery) while exploring the town.

We booked a night here to rest on our way from LA to SF, and very glad we did. The area is very beautiful, the hotel is very nice, clean and large room with the king bed, car parking is free. The restaurants in the area are a must if you wish to try the best seafood in the area.

My room had been recently renovated tastefully, and so it was a pleasant place to be between adventures. The inn is a block from the bay and scenic walks. Price is the best in town. Free parking.

Large room, fairly newly renovated. Good WiFi, good views of Morro Rock, the harbor, and beyond. A block from the embarcadero with restaurants and shopping.

We really enjoyed our trip to the Bay View Inn. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The location is great - easy walking distance to the ocean. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

VERY WARM WELCOME BY PAUL AT THE FRONT DESK! HE GAVE ME THE BEST ROOM AT THE HOTEL. I HAD A MAGNIFICENT VIEW OF MORRO ROCK, RIGHT FROM MY BED! GREAT SERVICE !

This is a nice place and I have been staying here one weekend a year with friends for many years. They have spruced up the place in recent years. Staff is nice & helpful. The location to restaurants & downtown is excellent.

Bayview is the perfect location to walk to the Embarcadero for dining, drinks, shops and walking out to the Rock. clean rooms and always a great stay

For the price, this was a very good place to stay. Not luxurious, but modest and close to the embarcadero. Quiet and comfortable.

This place is great, comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, walking distance to the water.

Our stay was great. Cannot beat the location and the price...short walk to the ocean, food and stores, as well as an easy drive to freeway. We were busy during the day and going back to our room at Bay View Inn was nice and relaxing. It was clean, no weird smells, and will definitely book there for our next stay in Morrow Bay.

My husband and I have been going to Morro Bay for years and this was our first time staying at Bay View Inn. Prime location. We had a great view of the ocean. We had the ocean view room and the room was perfect! I told my husband it was the easiest check in ever and the guy that checked us in was super friendly!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location! I rented a room with a harbor view, and it was lovely except there was construction on the property on the opposite side of the small road, it marred my view. This isn't the hotel's fault but important to know if you're staying soon.
No elevator to the second floor which might be important to mobility challenged guests. I missed having a tub after my drive down from the Bay Area. Oh, and the harbor seals were so loud I thought they were right under my window, but when I closed my windows it was less noticeable.

Reasonably priced, very close to the shops & waterfront. I've stayed here twice & have had no problems.

Fantastic ocean view for a very reasonable price. Room was clean and well appointed. I love that there was a coffee maker in the room- not everyone does that these days. Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay! We are a family of 5 and our room was extremely practical and accommodating. Very comfy beds, clean, shower & tub, coffee, fridge, microwave, and t.v. We had a lovely view of the bay where we were. It was an easy $100 less than where we normally stay (won’t say the name but it was right across the street!) and in our opinions it was just as good. We will continue to come here for our future trips to Morro Bay!
