Good Indian food is layers of flavor- the complexity of spices and textures is vastly underrated and perfection is often harder to achieve (from what I have noticed in the US.) For me, heat is a must, but it has to be the kind that causes just a hint of sweat, and a pleasant warmth on the tongue and the back of the throat. There are so many options here, for veg, non-veg and spice level preferences - and based on what I chose, a pork vindaloo with saag over basmati, they are all going to be good. This chef is taking exceptional care to make sure the food is of a quality you won’t expect of takeout. The pork was tender, spicy but not extremely so, and perfectly seasoned; the saag, very well blended and light, I’ve never had it this way, but it was almost like a sauce/condiment here, I wish I had more to make a better assessment, but it was tasty. Rice was fluffy and warm, and the toppings- a thinly sliced cabbage slaw, and crunchy, juicy cucumbers, offered a cooling balance to the meal. I opted for Bengali pickles to carry the heat - delicious, and tamarind and cilantro chutney, which I could’ve used more of, but only to assess. This is the Indian place you should frequent if you want something truly tasty.

Delicious! Authentic Indian food. I tried the basmati rice with the salad, and cauliflower with pickled onions and garam masala. The ball is fairly big for a single meal, and reasonably priced. Service is super quick.

Me and my partner visited today and were so SO happy with the food we ate here. It was tasty, fresh and warm and extremely delicious! The lady serving us (We unfortunately didn’t get her name) was one of the most lovely and pleasant women I have ever spoken to, she made excellent recommendations to us and was just brilliant! Will 100% return for more delicious food!

Exceptional Indian food! The chicken was moist and tender, chick peas were creamy and flavorful, beets were cubed and tasty and the additional of sweet pickles were perfect topping! Special mention for the Masala Mac and Cheese which was exceptional! - it packs of nice warming sensation on the backend of ginger which is so unusual but oh so great! If you love heat and leave you must get it! It’s anything but ordinary

DELICIOUS!! Home-cooked, flavorful Indian Cuisine!! From the owner to the staff, EVERYONE IS SO NICE!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone looking for a TASTY, FILLING MEAL!! I had the Butter Chicken😋😋😋over rice with Chana Masala(Chickpeas), Roasted Broccoli and a Potato & Peas Samosa!! Looking forward to my next meal from there!! Also, if they have any Brownies... YOU MUST TRY THEM!! DELICIOUS & MOIST!😋

Favorite lunch in Industry City. Smells intriguing, tastes great. Appreciate all the vegan and vegetarian options clearly labeled on the menu. The owner was also very kind and patient, giving suggestions for recommended toppings.

Wow. When you walk into the food hall the smell coming from Taza is incredible. There is almost nothing better than good food, that is unless you add good people. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and was sharing how to make food with their spices at home. The food was outstanding and I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone.

I was very satisfied with my experience. Food was delicious and decently portioned, with bonus points for being healthy. I ordered one of their bowls and it came with a variety of different things, like a poke bowl of Indian food. Also, I tried mango lassi for the first time today and that was amazing. Highly recommend. (Edit: I've now had mango lassi at a few other places. This one is the best of those I've tried.)

The dry goods section was fun to browse through. I bought a bag of Lays that was "Magic Masala" flavored. Haven't tried it yet, cause I'm full. (Edit: I tried it. It's very good, but Really spicy!) They had all kinds of snacks I wanted to try. The owner was very friendly and the place was clean.

I'm so sorry I have no photos to share because we were just too hungry. To say that this food is delicious, is an understatement. I haven't had Indian cuisine this flavorful in many years. Everything is homemade by two sisters and the their longtime family recipes. From the meats (the goat curry was just marvelous) to the vegetables (cauliflower and potatoes), everything was perfectly balanced in either its spiciness or sweetness. All of the colors and flavors played so well together and made the plate itself look like a work of art. My mouth was watering long before we finally sat down to eat and when we did, we were not disappointed. Do your mouth a favor and go try Taza Mkt, asap!

I had the veggie bowl and it was delicious. The food is freshly cooked and flavorful, and I was told that the menu changes often. The enticing smells of the food waft throughout the food hall, adding to the experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, personable and caring of guests. And In response to a bad recent review — we as customers need to be more humane and generous in how we treat other humans serving as workers and staff, at all times and especially as we slowly emerge from the pandemic and shutdowns! We’re all in this together.

This is a hidden gem in Industry City. We ordered the butter chicken bowl with coconut chickpeas and roasted cauliflower - we were blown away! The best Indian food we have had in a long, long time. The flavors were amazing, the chicken was so tender and delicious. Would highly recommend!

A must try!!! the food was amazingg. I had the butter chicken and with the combination of vegies and sweet pickled onions blended so well. only problem i had was not having enough space in my stomach to try the rest of the menu. again if you are around brooklyn industy city stop by and try TAZA.

The standard menu has everything you need; each dish and condiment is a delightful treat for my tastebuds. You can taste and feel the love that goes into Taza’s cooking. Also reasonably priced for homemade food from fresh ingredients. The daily specials are thoughtful and a real treat!

I come back again and again. The butter chicken is exceptional. I have tried the other meats occasionally but nothing really is as superb as the butter chicken. Amazing Mac and cheese. Yes I said it, Mac and CHEESE. Masala Mac. DELISH. Get there early to make sure she doesn't run out. The owner and her sister are incredibly sweet.
