Van Dam Farms - Quartz Hill

Feed and hardware store. For its size, it has a huge selection of hardware. Went in for a replacement cable for my dishwasher, and they had it, even similarly priced to the big box stores. On a separate day, I needed a new wax rings and anchor bolts for my toliet. Boom it was there and reasonably priced too. Can't beat how conveniently it's located to me.

Went in looking for help with our chickens. The very polite young lady had us wait to speak with there chicken expert. Not only was this guy knowledgeable but he actually listened and then explained in a way we could understand so that we could help our animals. Most definitely going back.

These guys are so helpful and they never laugh at my ignorance.

We have dogs and they have reasonable prices on quality dog food, and great service. Support your local businesses, you'll be surprised!

As a handyman I love that when I'm on the Westside of the A.V., I don't have to run to Home Depot or Lowe's for small parts

Van Dam Farms is awesome. They're like the old fashioned hardware store that has what you need. I can go to Lowes or Home Depot and NOT find what I'm looking for and go to Van Dam Farms and find it. Though they're small, they're stock of stuff is amazing. AND it's not a zoo like the bigger places. Great customer service too! Great place!

Very classy, well stocked hardware store that is convenient and a "quick fix" alternative to driving miles to a big box store, wandering endlessly in the aisles in search of something as elusive as the help is in those places. This establishment has high end merchandise and the best staff you could ever hope for who will assist you in locating items and providing advice. "Service" means something to their staff. Give them a try. You'll be relieved that you did. Oh, and no worries. They dont "prey" on people seeking convenience by jacking up their prices like a lot of enterprises commonly do. ;)

Excellent! And very pleasant staff as well. I do honestly believe they may be more affordable as well as carrying certain items you would not normally be able to get from Lowes or Home depot.

Handy to have a hardware store in the neighborhood. I usually see the same guy at the register. He's friendly, and he knows where everything is. That's a huge plus compared to the big home improvement centers where you have to search for an employee in order to get directed to the employee who knows where to find the thing you need.

A huge shout out to the gentleman who closed the store today. I arrived at 1:02, and the store was already closed, though the Open sign was still on and the hay gates were open. To be fair, I was 2 minutes late, and the registers were closed. When I explained that I REALLY needed hay today, due to my own bad planning, so that my goats would not be hungry tonight, he kindly let me buy the hay. I so appreciate his time and extra effort for customer service. Thank you!

When it comes to getting feed for animals or shots for dogs, Van Dams reliably has the best prices & customer service. It's been my first choice for many years.

The staff is super helpful here. They have a wide variety of feed, hay, supplements, and accessories. They also double as a hardware store too. It's one stop shopping for everything I need for my animals and for home maintenance.
