Lancaster Library

I really L❤VE the LA County Library because it is a place that I can go to do work on my computer, watch my TV show on my tablet with my headset and they also offer 10 free pages a day to print.

Only improvement I can think of at the moment is I wish Lancaster offered more outlets to charge phones and laptop.

Never been to a library like this one before. So far its the best. 10 free copies per day, free pads for the girls, lots of books and computers. Helpful staff.

Very friendly, polite, and professional. A quiet safe and secure place thanks to amazing security. Welcoming place to bring children and family. They also have semi private study/meeting areas for study groups and other small groups.

The woman who works in the teen's section is simply amazing, My daughter and I met her once and we were sold on her genuine love for her job and for people, the woman at the front desk is very sweet and everyone was, I admire the appreciation for extreme professionalism and genuine love for helping people I definitely will be here again.Please don't change!

I love our local library, we have the sweetest people working there. I am so thankful they are offering programs and children related activities. They had free books and the books were wonderful for my child. They also pass out free lunches to school age kids. Again, I am so glad to see them reopen again. (During the Pandemic)

I think that the hours it's open should be more, especially on weekends, but I like how the library set up into easy to find sections for children young adults adults non-fiction video games movies Etc. They also have a good amount of computers for the public to use. The only problem I have is that they don't tend to have the entire series of books, so they'll have the first book in the third book in the series but not the second in the fourth or they'll have the third in the fourth book in the series but not the first and the second and other things like that. You can request that they borrow books from other libraries if you're willing to make the trip back there. I do wish that they had a little bit of a longer rental. But you can renew the books online so it makes it better. They also have a nice section of books for sale with the profits donated to a local charity and the books are very fairly priced. And they have the ability to read books online and read them on an electronic device call which can be useful. Overall it has good atmosphere easy self checkout and easy returns. If you like libraries there's not much to dislike here. And there's a great selection of stores surrounding the library as well as a few museums. Happy reading!

I'm a book worm and have always loved to go to libraries and during the Pandemic it was shut down for an entire year. It was so refreshing going inside the library the staff was absolutely wonderful so polite, helpful and courteous. I got the Microsoft Office and Windows 10 books. Now I can finally learn how to use my software that was included with my new laptop that I bought before the Pandemic began. Always so quiet and peaceful.

Excellent community library. Huge selection of books. Really appreciate the quarantined kids area with the posted guard right there, if help is needed. Staff is excellent and always willing to help with great attitudes. Take my kids there all the time. Located downtown so walking around after the library is fun too.

Nice and big, there's a place for everyone here. Teens have their own enclosed space where they can be loud, and the children's section is almost as large as the adult section! Friendly librarians finish off the atmosphere to make it a comfortable, fun place for the whole family!

The Library is open as is the Friends of the Library book store. Many books to buy cheaper and take home.

The staff is so patient, kind, helpful, and have forgiven fines I've had for delinquent books and movies, assisted with special inter library loans and helped facilitate obtaining copies of rate books that are very hard to locate, they've taken time away from their duties to walk me thru procedures on the computers, and in addition to that, permitted me to make dozens of copies/prints that I desperately needed to have, although I didn't have any money on me at the time to pay for them. They have been very good to me, are considerate to all, and have bent over backwards to be of assistance. They are truly a special group of people, and always a delight to deal with&a pleasant experience! Thank you to all of them for their dedication!!

Lots of space to do work/read at, 10 free pages to print, my son gets his own library card and check out his own books. We both can be on the computer at the same time since we both can have a card. He loves it, I like it. They should open earlier though. Just my opinion.

This Library is great, good staff and clean environment. I like to come over to the parking area and get free wi-fi.

One of the better places to go with your children around the city, my kids love coming here and we rent books regularly and I think it's convenient as well. They do all sorts of activities during the month so be sure to check in on what's going on inside.

Very quiet very cool can't wait to get my laptop so I can see things better than my phone bigger screen soon I hope

Great Young Adult book selection - they always have new releases less than a week after they've been released. Surprisingly well-stocked Spanish fiction section, lots of manga and graphic novels.

My daughter and I love this library! Really spacious, with many different areas to accommodate every age group. The staff is very helpful and kind. We need more libraries like this one.
