One of the best places I've been to. Excellent atmosphere; my friend Caleb, who is a local, recommended this joint. The cowboy rolls were one of the best appetizers I've had in my life, and the burger was exceptional. Food prices were great! Bartenders were super friendly and helpful, would absolutely recommend this place.

Best steak I've had! Awesome place and would definitely come back again. Great audio system, great atmosphere, open bar and overall service just excellent. Recommend for anyone looking for a good time in a dark setting with class and good drinks.

Maxdons, is a hole in the wall spot in the Av that has a great vibe and also has great food. The girls that work are familiar faces from 5 years ago. Great place.

Some of the best food in the valley. Sorry no pictures but steak salad was so big and delicious. Couldn't finish. Friend had 14oz steak she is a piticular person and she thought everything was great.

14 oz rib eye was AMAZING! It was so juicy and melted in my mouth. Great seasoning too. Mashed potatoes were creamy and the garlic bread was so yummy.

The food there is delicious. I have been there twice. The first time I had the steak dinner and the 2nd time was today and I had the cheeseburger. I was there for lunch around 12:30pm and there was only one server there. She handled everything very well . She took our order, cooked it and brought it to our table ! Wow! She did everything with grace. I did not catch her name but she had blonde hair. 👌

LOVE LOVE LOVE Maxdons! It's got an old-school vibe, strong drinks, and amazing steaks. It's definitely an icon in the AV. I haven't lived there for several years but my husband and I compare many places to Maxdons still and, of course, we always have to go whenever we're in town.

Have a steak, you'll love it. The salad bar is well stocked, the Bleu Cheese dressing is perfect. My wife had a great gin and tonic and the service was friendly. We love Maxdon's!

Best Steaks in town, great atmosphere for what could be considered a dive bar. Music that you're able to place requests through an app, reasonable prices. Can't complain, of course we will be back! :)

Quaint little restaurant. It reminded me of restaurants in Massachusetts, dim, dark but lovely. I had their seared ahi tuna and a canned IPA. I didn't like how the ahi came out. It had a crispy outside.

My companion and I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and even though the service was a little bit delayed, we had an all out good time.

I have been here over a dozen times and had never tried the steak even though there is a sign outside that says best steaks in town!!! I finally did and ordered the small Rib-eye. Nothing small about it and it was cooked perfectly to medium rare... Well seasoned and juicy, steak sauce was not needed as the flavor was amazing as is. I highly recommend trying a steak from here.

Best steaks I've ever had. Even though it's a bar, my mother and sister are still very comfortable coming here. Great salad bar too. Normally that's not something to comment about. But they actually have a great salad bar. Wonderful soup too. I love their cheddar broccoli soup. I always get two bowls.

I love the food here, great steaks, rib tips and fried pickles. The bar tender makes fantastic drinks. The Big Stick is my favorite. The service is awesome, but, it's usually packed full and loud with happy patrons. I love this place.
