Joshua Mortuary & Joshua Memorial Park

Joshua Memorial Park has been facilitating our family needs since 2007 with four internments. Berni and her staff (Angie is great too) go above and beyond making sure all details are met while providing a professional yet personal service. Their job/career is unique as they have to help families through the emotional process as well as the financial/logistic requirements and they do it beyond expectation. I recomend visiting Joshua Memorial before the immediate need arises of final arrangements. Let them walk you through all you need to know about arrangements and options after you or a loved one passes. If prior arrangements have not been made and you find yourself in immediate need, they will make time for you and keep you on track with their warm caring staff. They have always been a part of our positive experience as we say goodbye to our loved ones. Let them be a part of yours when that time comes. It actually is a beautiful experience working with them. Staff was reliable and worked well with me and my family to organized my loved one’s funeral. Staff was attentive to all our needs and requests, I really appreciate the help that Joshua Mortuary gave us.

Excellent service! Their location in Lancaster is by far the nicest in the Antelope Valley. Chris is a standout and he was helpful and kind during our difficult time.

My mother passed recently and we needed to pick a place. This was the very first one we picked and I’m so glad we did. Bernie and staff were such caring and loving people u could ever ask for. When my mother passed, I needed help in making her arrangements. I couldn't appreciate them more for the quick response, consistent follow up and for caring. Bernadette made my experience such a welcoming and easy process during such a sad time. I truly can't say thank you enough. All the staff was very nice, helpful and patient. I will always remember their kindness when needed most and will recommend them to anyone in need.

I have to say this place has a lot of changes through the years. We laid my brother and my dad to rest here. Initially everything was great!

A couple years ago management changed and things went bad real quick. They stopped watering the grass, they would throw away any decor and management were jerks. When you lay your loved ones to rest you are trusting that they would care for them.

I don’t know if management changed again but wow is all I have to say. What a turn around! They now have amazing staff that takes pride and care in their work. The grounds have come back to life. I can’t even put into words how grateful I am to them. I feel so happy that my family is under your care!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

My parents passed away within weeks of one another. Joshua Memorial made a difficult experience easy to navigate.

Definitely a place my parents chose as their final resting place. When it was their time to actually follow through for both of their wishes each time. Dignity Memorial "Joshua Mortuary & Joshua Memorial Park" made my emotional mind set calm because I was treated with care, they listened to all of my needs and met everyone of them. Took such a load off my mind knowing they had it all handled. Open communication, I never felt I was not heard. I even have my best friends mother laid to rest there as well. Beautiful well kept lawn. Just a FYI make sure if you leave flower leave them Thursday at dusk because their policy is to clean up flowers on Wednesday sometimes takes until Thursday. That way your beautiful flowers will remain for longer.

When my dad suddenly passed the last thing we wanted to do was plan for his funeral and cremation. From the first meeting we had with Chris and Bellissa we knew we were going to be taken care of. The care and compassion we received was genuine and we could not have asked for a better team during this hard time. My dad would have been so happy on how beautiful his funeral was,every detail that we didn't think of was done without us having to ask. Thank you to you both for taking one of the hardest times of our life and making it easy in the sense that we didn't have to worry about anything but taking care of eachother.

They were very accommodating and very respectful. They took very good care of my husband and made things so easy for me. Thank you so much to Chris and my friend Patty for making my family and myself feel at ease.

Want to express my deepest gratitude to Joshua Memorial and staff for helping me lay my husband to rest. Elizabeth and Angie were extremely accommodating, caring and helpful during the hardest time of my life . Never thought I'd be burying my husband so early in our lives and I was completely unprepared for all the decisions that go into planning the services. They both helped me every step of the way and tried to make the experience as easy as possible. I was 9 months pregnant when my husband passed and they rushed services for me and I was able to lay my husband to rest before I had my son . They accommodated me in every way possible and I'll always appreciate and remember it . Thank u ladies so so much . Me my kids and my whole family appreciate you .

The referral was from Mr. Sahag Tateosisn who had many options to give us. It was the perfect one. Dignity did an amazing job from the planning to the service day. From the receptionists to our coordinator Claudia Avila. Claudia did her best to accommodate our needs. She deserves a 10star for her service. John and Carmen worked tirelessly during the lunch service. Our appreciation and blessings go to all the staff.

We were very happy with the way my Mom's funeral was handled. Everyone was very caring & wanted to help us any way they could. The staff was all very friendly and made us feel important. I would recommend Joshua Memorial Park mortuary to anyone needing their services. I had to do alot of the arrangements over the phone as I live out of state. My Mom's body was flown in for a service & burial next to my Dad. She had lived by me the last 20 yrs. My Dad had passed 25 yrs ago & buried at Joshua Memorial as my parents had made these arrangements years ago.

I worked w Belissa Martin who was knowledgeable, professional but most of all caring and compassionate. She presented all the options for the funeral and burial and took her time to answer all of my questions. Her experience in her chosen profession was evident from our first meeting which eased my mind and made the process less daunting.

I’m very pleased and relieved to know that when the time comes my parents wishes will be carried out as they directed and our family can focus on the celebration of their wonderful lives and not the arrangements.

The facilities are sophisticated and welcoming and the cemetery provides an environment that is not dreary but peaceful and worthy of a loved ones final resting place.

Angie Robles made us feel so comfortable during our loss. Angie and Chris made the process easy and comforting. I think if it wasn't for Angie Robles and Chris Figueroa I really don't know how I would of got through it. They reassured us that everything would come out to our liking. And it was beyond what I expected. They were so kind and so comforting and caring. Thank you so much Angie Robles and Chris Figueroa.

When staff arrived to take my dad into your care they were so honorable and respected him as a veteran. The staff in the office were so caring and understanding. I appreciate the kindness and compassion.

Lourdes has been one of the most kind hearted people I have ever got to talk to, I wish I got to meet. Especially during a rough time like this. She took her time to answer questions. She was in no rush to get off the phone. Although I was in another state helping my sister out to set up services for my step dad. We were back and forth talking for quite some time. She understood the circumstances my sister and I were in. Considering we just lost our mom 7 months before that. She couldn’t have showed any more kindness and thoughtfulness in her heart. We need more kind people like her in this world. Thank you Lourdes for all your help with arrangements and recommendations. Love is a strong word, like I told you. But it’s a feeling. Thank you so much you kind hearted soul.

Everyone was very helpful and sensitive through the whole process. My parents had made all the arrangements with Joshua years ago and it made it so much easier at the time of loss.
