Torres and Mumaw Cremation and Burial Services

I had went to other funeral homes before arriving at Torres and Mumaw. This was a task I already dreaded because I was not mentally prepared to arrange my sister's funeral. Felipa was beyond amazing from the moment my family walked into the funeral home. Felipa was kind, considerate, extremely professional and most importantly, she was prepared. She had already developed a price breakdown for the services we asked about over the phone. Based on her level of professionalism and compassion, it was no need to look any further. She helped me with every detail and answered my questions every step of the way. She made sure that I was comfortable and pleased! Even though this was the hardest day of my life, she made it easy for me to show up and not have to worry about anything. I definitely recommend! The entire team was amazing.

I would like to say Mumaw's is a place I would recommend. How there's even negative comments is beyond me. Jim has been in this business for years and in his family for generations. I wish it would continue on. Mumaw has dealt with many of Antelope Valley families , always kept their word and made hard times less stressful. I thank them for their services .

Muti generational, family owned. In my book, they are the best for preparing a loved one for viewing. Natural and softening techniques utilized.

My mother did on December 27th they lack of communication they lack empathy, disrespect, and care they are slow to respond they still have my grandmothers remains! They have not released them, they don’t call you you the person grieving must call them I was advised my mom would be ready by the first week of January it’s the 18th and I still do not have her remains they have been paid and I’m the only one dealing with my moms death we have a small family and they have taken advantage of that. This has been the most horrible experience and I’m already dealing with the loss of a loved one, this behavior is disgusting and I highly recommend you stay far away from this place they are extremely unprofessional and lazy especially if you’re a person of color.

Very rude owner, I wouldn't do business with them. Can't imagine having service for a loved one here.
