It was my first time ever going to a hair salon so I was so excited to book. The moment I walked in the staff were very welcoming and polite, the salon was so nice and organized. They took great care of me and my hair! Sara took her time washing my hair and we had great conversation and ROBYN SLAYED MY HAIR!!! I was so happy with the finished results of my hair. I will definitely be back!! And I recommend this salon to anyone. I was even shocked to see that they offer so many other services! 🤗🙌

Damon did a wonderful job on my hair. I had a trim done as well as flat twists. He definitely made me feel comfortable and he explained everything well. I was concerned about too much of my hair being trimmed but he reassured me only an inch would be cut and he did just that. The twists came out really nice. I love them. I highly recommend you book Damon. He's very talented, professional, and funny. This was my first time visiting The Hair Ward. Everyone is really nice. Robyn the owner answered all my emails inquiring about her services and did her best to accommodate for any inconveniences. I'll definitely be back. She does an amazing job with my daughter & myself. I started trusting her with her hair when she was only 5. Don has always been patient with her even when she gets afraid of the heat. I have M.S & its been a few times I've come in with my hair a mess because i was unable to lift my arms to comb my hair. She has never made me feel ashamed.I love how she let's me know what services we needed... like a trim, deep conditioning, or steam treatment. And doesn't just do it and charge me extra on the back end. So happy I randomly called in one day and she answered the phone. I will forever be a customer of hers

I had one of the best hair experiences I ever had with Damon’s service ! His hands are magic and I came out of the chair feeling like Beyoncè herself. Definitely gave the full salon experience, great conversation, great work, I got my hair done for my birthday and I could not stop looking at myself. I don't normally leave reviews but this one was a must !

I love Tonya. Absolutely love her. She is extremely good at what she does and very professional. You can show her a picture of what you want done and she can make it happen.
My hair was extremely uneven because I had been trimming it myself. It had been a long time since I had been anywhere to get my hair done. I Had one stylist I trusted and felt comfortable with who retired.

I was doing it myself for years and it was damaged and just looked really unhealthy. My daughter goes here for hair and she sees Robyn, whom she also loves and is very happy with.

In a matter of about four months now, and going every two weeks, my hair is in the best shape it's ever been. Shiny, long, even, much fuller. Tonya is the best! She listens, cares about her clients, and takes her time with your hair. No short cuts or rushing through it she is very thorough. She truly knows what she is doing. The environment is extremely clean. They clean chairs after every client. Bathroom is impeccable. Really can't say enough about Tonya she is a blessing and I love my hair again!!!

Betty was able to squeeze me in last minute for a quick double braid for an event. Super friendly and efficient. She accidentally overcharged me but reached out within minutes to refund the difference. I definitely plan to return next time I’m in town for more than just a quick braid. (Lord knows my hair needs a little tlc after two years of home care 😂)

This was my first time going to a salon in California! Needless to say I was so excited to find a salon with amazing reviews and that provided the services I was looking for. I loved how quickly I was helped. I was lucky enough to be serviced by Donnetta who help me achieve a look for my mommy makeover! She colored, trimmed, and silk pressed my hair. I left the salon feeling like I was walking on clouds! I definitely recommend and will be returning!

I had a run in with another salon I was going to for a while to my knowledge they were they only salon in the av that did extensions which at the moment is how I am wearing my hair. Long story short I got horrible customer service at the other salon. There was a problem with scheduling and when I got to the salon the lady refused to do my hair cause she quote “did not have time anymore” even tho I had a appointment with her that day. My appointment there was at 2 and I did not end up leaving there until 5 still with nothing done to my hair cause I spent that whole time arguing with (my at the time beautician) to get her to keep her word and actually help me with my hair which was to no avail. So at this point I was hysterically crying cause of the way I was treated and the fact that it was so late in the day that I felt that no other salon would take me that late and I desperately needed my extensions redone. A little angel told me that a new salon just opened in the Lancaster area that was fully functional and did extensions called The Hair Ward So I figured I would give them a call cause even if they couldn’t take me what did I have to lose at that point. Much to my surprised the lovely Ms. Robyn said she could take at 7pm that evening . After what I just dealt with that was like music to my ears to hear. Let me tell you I have never felt so welcomed and appreciated by a business before. They treated me with such kindness and humility and that was honestly a breath of fresh air with what I had gone through with beforehand. And the cherry on top is that I am much more satisfied with the out come of my hair and the care that was put into it. Robyn and her whole staff are incredible and I am so grateful for them. They have definitely earned themselves a regular client.

Love the Hair Ward. All of the girls were friendly and helpful. My neck wasn't sore cause the shampoo bowls are adjustable. The private room is great for clients that are self-conscious about having their hair done in the open which I thought was very nice. Plus the little bottles of water are cute and quench the thirst.
