If I could give Yeager Law a 6 star review in every category, I'd do it. After much discussion with free probate attorneys in the LA County area, I hired this law firm to open a probate case when my mother passed away.
Typically, you would get a free 15 minute consultation with a law firm; Michael Yeager spent 90 minutes on the phone with me. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, demeanor, and his willingness to answer all my questions without feeling rushed. We discussed the pros and cons of opening a Heggstad vs. Probate case (It's a long story) , and after much deliberation, it was mutually agreed upon, to proceed with a probate case. I made a decision to sell my mom's condo, and as it turns out, I needed to probate her real property, based on the fact that 50% of the property was held in a Living Trust ( I am the Successor Trustee) and 50% was held in her name only. My Step-Dad had passed away prior to my mom's death, and he had bequeathed his half to her. After his death, my mom and I, failed to put that half back in the Trust. Even though probate cases are much more expensive vs. a Heggstad case ( Statutory Attorney fees are set the State of California, not the lawyer) I had to do it.

In the near future, I will be hiring Yeager Law to open up a Living Trust for my wife and I, so my daughter won't have to go through what I just went through with my mom's passing.

The service I received was caring, pleasant and thorough. Michael was able to tailor my Trust to fit my current needs (with a teenage son) but also make provisions for when he is old enough to be my successor Trustee; so that my Trust grows with my child. I didn't even know that was possible, I was expecting to have to revise my Trust in a few years. THIS is why an attorney is a better value than a legal aid service. I know my son's interests are protected now and in the future.

I definitely can’t say enough good things about Mr.Yeager ... Definitely great legal help for a fair price. After my fathers passing another attorney who turned his practice over to another attorney that starts with a V... on the Blvd wanted a bunch of $$$ to even talk about our issues with our family trust that their firm did in 99.., after everything was said and done they claimed that they don’t keep important documents aka Trust and Wills only a few years....from here on out Michael is our guy...I definitely appreciate the level of service we received and recommend the firm highly to anyone.

I was chosen by the family to act as administrator of the family estate. I was looking for a probate lawyer and didn't know how to best choose one when a card arrived via mail introducing Yeager Law. I called and made an appointment. After I left the appointment, I knew that I had our attorney, and I was really right. Mike and Yeager Law have been a Godsend. Not only were Mike and his staff very professional, friendly and most helpful, Mike himself was unlike any attorney that I had ever met. Not once did I ever feel like I was on a production line being rushed through my appointment. From our first meeting, he took time to go through the probate process while answering all of my questions without that rushed feeling. In fact, there were times, when I had to drop by and sign some paperwork. If I had any questions, and he wasn't busy with a client, he would take the time to answer my questions or address any issues to my satisfaction. I never left with any questions or issues on my mind. As a result, I was able to relieve my family of their fears and apprehensions. This reassurance has continued throughout the probate.
What really makes a difference is that we have already received the court's approval of our petition for distribution. It has only been one year. It would have been much sooner, but the court procedures have changed requiring more time to complete the process. I know that if I had tried to go it alone, it would have taken a lot longer than one year. Not only that, Mike has been educating me as we have gone through each stage of the probate process, and I am a whole lot more informed than when I first started the process.
From day one, I have trusted and felt confident in Mike and his law firm's ability to get me through the probate, and he has never done anything to cause me to change my mind. I would recommend and have recommended him to family, friends, and strangers.
When one considers the reason for probate and the loss that one has suffered, it really helps to have an understanding, compassionate law firm. And and this has truly been a very trying time for me and my family as we lost both parents within two months of each other. Working with Yeager Law has really helped us get through this process as easily as we have. This has been a direct result of their friendliness, courtesy, respect, and desire to help us during this most painful period of grieving.
There's a final perk to this probate, not only did I find a really excellent attorney, but I have made some new friends. This was most unexpected by me, and I am most grateful for the added bonus.

I was in such a horrible situation. I was going through probate. I went to a paralegal that put me in such horrible situation . Thinking she was helping me, when I went to court the Judge took a double look at me and the paperwork and all the Judge said was get a Attorney. I did not know who to trust at that point and what I was going to do Until I found Yeager Law, APC. I had basically went to several different Attorneys in which did not feel comfortable with, and unsure who to trust. When I spoke with Michael & Jennifer Yeager.
