Desiring a divorce, I was able to get in to see Mr. Zuniga within 5 days of calling for a consult. Upon arrival, I found that Mr. Zuniga has a calm, thoughtful demeanor that resulted in all of my concerns and fears about the process disappearing.
He asked questions that ensured I left out nothing that needed to be covered. He facilitated the drawing up of documents that ensured everything I wanted to be considered was communicated in our divorce contract.
I was dealing with a very passive-aggressive spouse and his ability to mediate was key to the success of this effort. He is methodical, patient, and will without doubt be an asset to anyone in need of an attorney. I have already recommended him to a number of friends. I would have given him 10 stars but this only goes up to 5.

Excellent representation in our grandson custody matter. You provided sound advice which we followed to great results. You kept us calm and helped us deal with the stress created by our grandson's mom crazy antics. You went over different scenarios and provided reasoning behind how we should act. In the end, It resulted in us getting our custody request.

Jesus and his team were professional, responsive, and listened to and addressed my concerns. I appreciate their effective guidance, representation, and hard work. I highly recommend their office to any women going through a contested divorce and custody case.

It’s been a whole year and 6 months since I have paid them for a divorce that is completely EASY . Both parties agree to divorce with no assets involve . I have called once a week for the past 6 months and still no update . Every time I call it’s another wait , then it’s something else like I just don’t get it . Why take people money if you can’t do the job.

If I could give zero stars to this business I would. He told me my case was going to be very simple. Here I am still waiting after 1.5 years of absolutely nothing. He’s unorganized, unprofessional. Almost doesn’t know what he is doing for a basic case. He doesn’t communicate, stay in touch and or they don’t have an open door policy. If you go to their office, the door is always locked which now I understand is a red flag. He tells you he’ll call, he won’t. He didn’t show up to court on my hearing date and didn’t even let me know that he didn’t go. His assistance is the same mess as well. I’m still having to chase him to give me a response or an update about my case, he doesn’t give me copies of whatever he gets from the court. if I have to check my case on the court’s website why did I pay this guy as my lawyer. He got me out of money, he doesn’t look out for my good and he keeps leaving me hanging. I do not recommend his business to anyone, take your money and business to someone else.

If you are reading this I’m sorry you have to hire an attorney but I am begging you to not hire this one. He may be cheap compared to other attorneys in California. But I repeat DO NOT HIRE HIM. I paid him 3,500 as a retainer for my divorce and that was a year ago and I’ve only been married for 2 years. There were court hearings that he didn’t even tell me about. There were court hearings were he didn’t even show up and sent a woman I have never met or seen before. It was actually very embarrassing when we went in for court and the attorney didn’t have a clue about my case. My divorce could have BEEN over had he adequately fought for me, showed up to court hearings and answered my phone calls and emails. I damn near had to harass him for information about my case.. if you do decide to hire him just pay attention to how messy and disorganized his office is

Jesus Zuniga was the absolute worst choice I could have made in terms of representation. He was initially retained for a custody issue I was having with my daughter, and in a rush I foolishly decided on him due to some of the good Google reviews that I saw. Little did I know how those reviews were not representative of the service I (or many others) received. He proved to be very incompetent, costly for lack of work performed, cost us money that shouldn’t have been paid out to the other party in my case, as well as made us look foolish in court in front of the opposing Attorney and Judge, thus setting the negative tone for future hearings.

Some examples:
*Zuniga was late to my hearing, and left right after without really giving us an opportunity to speak about it.
*Zuniga gave terrible advice to bring my daughter to the initial court hearing, after reluctantly agreeing, the judge then proceeded to berate me for this poor decision and Zuniga never spoke out once in my defense or gave any indication that this was his council in order to protect his own image.
*Zuniga referred to my current wife (of 5+ years) as my fiancé, in court.
*In court Zuniga did not bring up any of the case specific details we discussed.
*Zuniga would frequently just agree to whatever the opposing attorney would request or say, without fact checking or confirm with us (in order to convince us that decision was for the best).
*Zuniga allowed false information be presented in court (with no objection) which caused us to needlessly pay an exorbitant amount of money to the opposing party (in child support/arrears).
*Zuniga would take ridiculous amounts of times to respond to us, even mid-negotiations with the opposing attorney that were time-sensitive. At one point we did not get response from him for 2 weeks! (after 4+ emails, 3 voicemails, 2 messages with reception).
*Zuniga would always wait until the last minute (literally) to submit responses with the court and their opposing attorney. Even if his office had the documents a week in advance, his responses would go in late.
*Zuniga overcharges for his hourly rate. I.E. Charges his full attorney fee ($300/In increments) for small clerical work such as receiving/sending e-mails. Example, I was charged $30 for every email he read, or every email sent, even if the email was only one or two sentences.

It is of my opinion that if you are in need of substantial family law representation, look elsewhere. You want to feel well represented in court when it comes to family matters, and I did not get this from Jesus Zuniga.

I paid Jesús Zuniga to assist me with my divorce. About a year latter, the office has not finished the paperwork and I finally got served from the other part.

I notified this to the office through calls and emails and still have no response.

I hired Mr. Zuniga to represent me in my case for a custody situation ..not only did mr zuniga not succeed, he made my situation worse.. he was late to court..,his paperwork was incorrect.. the judge told him he couldn't even argue the case because his paperwork didn't properly have the items that were to be argued. He couldn't even professionally talk in the courtroom.. all he did was stutter. And act like hes writing important things down on his tablet when all he was doing was making stupid little arrow designs.. he made so many arrow designs that he had to flip his page and start a new page with even more arrows his services were ridiculous he is not professional at all, I could have done a better job myself.. I do not recommend Mr. Zuniga's services at all As I believe he shouldn't even be a lawyer... Is actually a scammer if you ask me

If you guys are looking for a good lawyer he is not it i have to look for another lawyer even though I paid him 3500 so he could help out it's been 2 years and he still hasn't helped me never returns calls he never lets you know when you have court doesn't even show up for court always has someone else filling in for him and he's never honest.. very poor service zero stars if i could

All those good comments are from his office to get more clients it was the biggest mistake to I've ever made on my life when I Believe him
Now I pay the price double everyone better of representing yourself if you hire this one

Horrible....its been a year and a half..we are still not divorced...Mr.Zuniga has no idea what he is doing...we had the final hearing four months ago..He has cancelled my appointment to sign the final paperwork twice.Now he says the court has no record of our divorce what so ever and now i have to hire someone to go re- file everything.

Literally spoke for 20 minutes. I asked questions and he was very minimal and short responsive. Third lawyer I spoke to and he didn’t seem to know how to answer my questions.

May god take your Second eye too. you see the True are but you still act like you dint may god take your kids the way like you cost me
