Silly Willy Kids Cuts

Just an absolutely fabulous experience!! My little looks great and Rashell sorry if I spelled this wrong was so patient. She absolutely took the time to understand what I wanted and work with my almost two year old through his tantrums. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area. They are in a suite located inside of Sola Salons and were a tad tricky to find, but once located things went super smooth.

Catlyn was amazing! My son wanted his hair styled after she cut it (he’s 3 years old so sitting still is not something he does well). She did double French braids! While she was French braiding his hair, she gave me a mini tutorial so that I can start doing it at home. Then my daughter, who was mostly waiting patiently, really wanted color in her hair, so she colored BOTH kids hair. I love this place. Everyone there enjoys their job. They are amazing with kids and make you feel so welcome.

This is our 3rd time getting our kids haircut here, everyone we've gone to has done a great job on the cut. He gets a little scared from the clippers but the sitting in the cars and all the toys they have always get us through to the end. Last time we were there another kid was gettingnhis hair at the same time and cried the entire time and they were calm and let the parents hold them and got the cut done well and pretty quickly.

I live in Tehachapi and have been looking for an easy, fun place to have my daughter's hair cut. I finally started looking in Lancaster and Silly Willy's came up. We have it a try, and Oh My Gosh! What a fun experience. My daughter, who is shy and doesn't like her hair touched, took right to the ladies and had a blast! They played games, let her drive the little car and make lots of noise, play with toys and watch her favorite show. They taught me a few tricks with hair styles that match her hair type and even added a little splash of color to her hair. She loved it and asks to go back all the time. This is now our go-to hair salon. Note that Silly Willy's is inside a larger salon building. The building has all different kinds of independent professionals in it. Just call the shop and they will direct you.

I had to search to find Dawnette who was our favorite stylist. I'm so happy she has her own kid salon now. She had Disney plus on the tv so the kids could watch movies. Toys were a major plus to keep my toddler busy while my baby got his hair cut. I love that Dawnette is so calm and never gets bothered by screaming babies or the kids trying to look at what she's doing. She has lollipops and fruit snacks to keep them occupied. By far the best thing about this salon is the hair cuts, she never fails to do exactly what we want. I've noticed that she is very particular about her clippers because you don't want baby hairs getting pulled. This little gem is located in the salon strip right next to black angus steakhouse.

Took my son here for his first haircut. I was so nervous but they did such a great job. They knew it was important that my husband be there and his schedule is impossible to align mine. They went out of their way to make it happen. I think that really shows character and it made me an official customer. Thank you ladies!

I have been coming here for a little over 2 years now as I have a child who is on the spectrum and haircuts at home just aren't a thing that is possible right now. My son also has very tightly coiled curls and hair so even with detangling it and brushing it out it still goes right back to those tight coils. The ladies here are amazing and today Dawnette went above and beyond and was incredibly patient with my boy while he had a lot of tough hair to cut. I wish I could have given a tip but unfortunately we don't have the means to it yet. Just wanted to say thank you to all the ladies who have helped and if I can come back sooner so it's not an issue I absolutely will! Thank you again and have an awesome week!

My son's first haircut was w Nicole, then his followings w Catlyn, and all experiences were wonderful. I would have any of the stylist cut his hair if they weren't available. Very great team, very caring and professional. Xo Amanda & Gadsden

My son cries every time he gets a haircut at a barbershop. I was told about this place. Came and gave a heads up that my son will cry. But surprisingly he did amazing

I love bringing my son here, they have so much love and patience for children. The first times I brought him here my son was scared and I had to sit with him and he also would not allow for a cape to be put on him because he had been traumatized at the dentist with it. But they’ve made him feel so comfortable he now sits on his own with a cape on.

Wonderful place!!!! They are so good with the little ones and did a terrific job on my son’s hair. THANK YOU to the owner for taking such great care of him. He is not a fan of getting his hair cut and we went through the whole process without a single tear.

My grandson has been going to Silly Willy Kids Cuts since it opened. Their services are outstanding and we will continue going there as long as it is open. Dawnette has always done a fantastic job for us. We appreciate all her efforts.

Absolutely loved getting my girls hair done! Just got a little trim and she thinned out her bangs for her. Also did a cute little hairstyle and some temporary color spray with glitter! I loved it and we already have another appointment for my littlest one. I highly recommend!

Literally amazing experience. They were so kind and understanding towards my 5 year old autistic son. This was my first time and I won't go anywhere else! I truly appreciate their kindness. I highly recommend.

Great experience, but also our kid ended up with a bowl cut lol we didn't check their work with. Not a huge deal cause he's a kid!
