New Vista Middle School

I love all my teachers there nice there are a lot of fight time to time but overall it's a great school I am a 6th grade student

The school changed a lot ......they got rid of all those bad students ....and this school as improve this year

I could tell by it is a good school and i am going thier this year

My school

I go to this school and to be honest it is a pretty good school there are rumors that new vista is a horrible middle school but it’s not there are many clubs and fun activities to do there also the lunch food isn’t that bad some of the teachers are a little strict trough but is fine. Although I gave the school 4 stars because there can be some fights form time to time but not as many as the rumors say but other than that it’s a pretty good school. I’m only in 6th grade so I have 2 yrs left of that school so I’ll see how it goes for the rest of those 2 yrs.

itis okay but if your kid has anger issues or gets mad fast dont send them here because if they say or talk back to someone rude they will get into a fight but its a awsome school and they also have an a,mbasdor class for bulling it helps alot so if you u want send them to that class but its only for 7th and 8th

The school tries its best to maintain the behaviour, education, and keeping the school clean. The students here are just horrible. So much theft and immature behavior emits from these students. That's the only problem I have, if your children to have a good friend circle or you don't want them bullied, don't send them here. All just pure experience from being here, its my last year here.

This is one of the worst schools my sister's have attended so far. Not only is my sister being bullied but other students as well. Speaking with the principal didn't change a thing. How sad is it to see someone bullying another just to feel good about themselves and get people's approval. 😒 ANYONE WHO'S CHILD HAS BEEN OR IS BEING BULLYING should speak up don't stay quiet because those who suffer ( emotionally, or physically) are the innocent.

If you care about your children DO NOT SEND THEM TO NEW VISTA MIDDLE SCHOOL......... This is from a parent that worried about my child safety, and exposure to drug abuse from the kids of that school in the class rooms...... Secretary's don't know anything about anything, very rude... principle Kathy Lee and vice principle Mr. Wood are jokes. all they want is for your child to come to school. THATS IT. they are not concerned about your child safety on or off campus and or if they are learning anything. Now don't get me wrong, The sheriffs are there a lot due to the kids fighting, drug abuse, and many more other things ALL THE TIME,. But who want there kids coming home telling there parents about what happened outside more than what they learned in the classroom. But even in the class rooms there going to see violence with the Students fight there Teachers.(Crazy right?) This school is under PI (Program Improvement) they sent me a letter saying that I can send my child to any school I choose if I no longer wanted her to attend New Vista. however, no schools were excepting new students at that particular time.

If it helps I would suggest Armargosa, Discovery, or Endeavor to select from. if New vista is your Home school then you will have to fill out a school exemption form. its worth it.
