I just want to thank the crew that was on duty at 8:15 last night. I was diagnosed with M.S. last month and finally was able to start my injections last week. Last night I had a bad reaction to the medicine 2 hours after my injection. My husband called and I got outside. Every muscle was in spasms and I couldn’t talk. They got me breathing and my bp down. One brought me a blanket and one held my hand when they were telling me to breathe. That’s by far the worst attack I’ve had. They were right on it and I just want to say THANK YOU! I’m blessed this station is so close. We appreciate all your hard work, especially now. May God Bless You All and keep you safe. Thank you for the wonderful care. ❤

At about 1:00 am on a Tuesday morning, I fell inside my house. I’m 73 years old & have had 3 lumbar spine, & 3 cervical spine surgeries, and one knee replacement. Due to all the injuries & surgical repairs my leg & arm muscles are very weak. In addition, I cannot kneel on my replacement knee. So once I fall it’s virtually impossible for me to get up. After struggling for 3 hours I realized I needed help desperately, but I was reluctant to call 911 because I KNOW that’s it is for dire emergencies. But after struggling for 3 hours, I finally did call. 3 very young HEROES arrived within less and 5 minutes & rescued me!!!! I’m so grateful to these fine, young men, and THANK them from the bottom of my heart!!! May God bless them & their families!!

On the morning of 4/11/21, while heading (S) on 60th West, my husband suffered a stage 4 aneurysm during his run. Two passers-by on foot flagged down a car who, coincidentally was an off-duty deputy. The deputy called 911 and Station 84 arrived in just a couple of mins. The quick efforts of the walkers, the deputy and Station 84 provided life-saving time and measures. We are eternally grateful.

I had a kitten that got out and climbed up a tall tree. After a few hours and it was getting dark, we started to panic about getting him down. He was frightened and had no problem going up but down was as different matter. I called LACFD Station 84 and the gentleman who answered the phone was so helpful and empathatic to my problem. It calmed me down and brought the situation into perspective. We were able to get the kitten down and he is safe. Thank you for the wonderful advice and just for being there. Thank you so much.

Pretty much the coolest Fire Station in LA County. It’s probably the busiest station in the world also. I’d love to work at a place like that. All the crews are super cool.
