Their card reader said DECLINED! I KNEW THIS NOT TO BE THE CASE. So I asked the usually kind lady that's worked there for over 10 years, to please ring it up again. She said declined is declined. So I walked up to the next store and my card went through as expected. Since this store was on my way back, I stopped in and said look see, there's nothing wrong with my card, perhaps it's your machine. She just said well it said declined and I said okay well I'm just saying something is wrong with your machine, I said have a nice day and walked out. I am very hesitant to ever spend money at this store again!.

I have been a regular customer of this store since moving in across the street several months ago. I have never had an issue with this store before but today I was a bit short when I was rung up so I asked the owner to hold my things until I return. I came back no more than two minutes later to all of my things back on the shelves. I asked the cashier if they believed I was lying when I said I was coming right back to which he replied "next time come with all the money". He then rang me up and we had an awkward pause before I had to remind him that I needed a bag like before. Why didnt he just ask if I wanted a bag the same way I was asked when I tried to make my initial purchase two minutes ago? What changed after making me re-shop for my things? I'm never rude, never asking for credit, and I spend hundreds of dollars at this store every month. The owner totally avoided me as I had this weird exchange of words with the cashier. I am very disappointed in the service I received today and uncomfortable with the idea of spending another dime here. With that being said there is a very nice smoke shop two doors down for all of your tobacco needs and I will be traveling to bootleggers on Division and K for liquor from now on.
