iLEAD Lancaster Charter School

I love this school !! I enrolled my daughter's last January and have never regretted it since. I am very impressed with the staff. They are very patient and understanding to your child's needs.
I have a daughter who previously went to a school who had 34 students in her class. The teacher had no help and if my child didn't pick up in the lesson the first time the teacher taught it, then she just didn't get it. Because the teacher didn't have time to stop and explain it better to her. So my daughter would get left in the dark. That became a huge problem after a while. I tried to have a talk with the teacher and principle and the only suggestion that they could offer me was "you can come sit in the class with her" ummm, no I am unable to do that. The principle said to me well she's not going to be held back, due to her age. Well just move her along. What?! A child is struggling and you have no problem just moving her into the next grade. I had a problem with that. So I went looking for a new school.
I found ilead. Thank God I did. They have been so helpful. If your child needs a little extra help they take the time and sit with them. My daughter is doing great!! Everyday both my daughters comes home like it was their first day of school. They are so excited to tell me about what happened and what they did. Just last night my daughter came up to me and said" can you sing an spanish songs? I can." And sang a whole song to me!! Last year my older daughter took a wood shop class. She loved learning how to use power tools. She felt like such an adult telling her dad that she could help him use a saw & power drill ext. They have an art class where they were able to use spray paint and make amazing looking art! Like I said I have never regretted the decision I made. I only wish I would have made the move a long time ago!! I tell everyone about the change we made and I've have told friends and family they should make the same choice, they won't regret it!!

This school has been such a blessing to my 4 learners. From pre school through 5th grade each of my unique children have found a tribe and a support system to help guide their above average academic progress. From the hands on Project Based learning to the whole child emotional and social support systems, my kids are set for success. We love iLEAD!

Second year my boys go here. My eldest was being bullied in public school. Came to iLead and made friends right away. His test scores have improved drastically. I have the state testing scores to prove it. My other son was told by public school teachers he has ADHD and needed to be diagnosed by his docter so he can be in special classes. ILead spent time with him and he went from not knowing how to read or do math and is now up to grade level. All that was needed was time and patience. ILead really does care.

We have been with iLEAD now 3 years and my children both LOVE going. They started at iLEAD AV and now attend iLEAD Lancaster ( close to our home) My 2nd grader is reading at an end of 5th grade level and my 5th grader is reading at above an 8th grade level. They both are excelling and love being apart of iLEAD. The only wish for change my kids have said is more play ground equipment & shade outside. 💙

I have been extremely happy with iLead as an alternative to the local public schools. My children are happy and the project based learning has been excellent for both of them (3rd and 4th grade).

This is the first year my girls go here I have a 1st ,4th and 6th grader and they love it! The school is great

Great school

Most all of the facilitators/staff seem very friendly. Biggest problem I see is so many out of control kids running all over the place. Some even when told to stop will blatantly be defiant. How can the teachers possibly know where they are? I've seen so many just messing around/running all inside the school and the noise level is so crazy at times. I think project based learning is awesome if executed properly with a bit more structure!

The school i ran very poorly, no organization, no one ever knows what going on, you call the front desk and ask a question they dont know what you are talking about then they have you talk to someone else that has no clue. They are always planning and canceling events. I have have 3 kids in 3 different grades and its unorganized at every level, it's sad. I love the concept of the open door policy and having no walls bt the classes but for that to work, you have to be organized and have structure. Their clases are also very over filled. They also don't celebrate achievements so if your child has perfect attendance or straight A's they are not recognize. The school just lack structure over all, and the kid's dont seem to be advancing educational wise.
