Antelope Valley Medical Center

I recently had an exceptional experience at Antelope Valley Hospital. Despite the ER being busy, the staff worked efficiently to get me through quickly and accurately diagnosed a very intermittent problem that had gone undiagnosed for well over 10 years.

The Gastrointestinal staff went above and beyond with my care, demonstrating remarkable professionalism and dedication. During my overnight stay, I felt very well taken care of and comforted during a stressful time.

My sincere thanks to the entire team at Antelope Valley Hospital for their outstanding service and care. You truly made a difference in my life.

The support staff is beyond exceptional in this place, whoever is in charge of hiring the nurses doesn't settle for just anyone, they made sure to hire the very best of the best. I've never been worried about who was taking care of me here. I've got an odd blood disorder and regularly need to be check to make sure I get to opportunity to continue life, and everyone that's has been with me each time I've been through here has delivered incredible care, caution, and concentration and making sure I have more days to enjoy in the future. Thank you to Antelope Valley and the amazing team of nurses!

Went today for acute lower back pain and was in so much pain. The staff was amazingly attentive, quick and sympathetic. While I was checking in, my name was called over to the desk. One of the staff went to the counter and told the lady that called me they might have to go to where I'm sitting to check me in. Staff was positive and you could feel it in the room. I was happy that I came here.

I was terrified to come to this hospital due to other patients review , had to get my gallbladder removed and was scared for my life . Dr wang made sure to make me feel safe and good the nurses were Amazin specially RN Maria she was awesome as well as the recovery nurses . Every patients experience is different

Arrived at the hospital at 4ish in the morning with horrible pains and fever. The nurses,staff and doctor in the green zone helped me so much during my stay on 5/23/24. I had gone to Palmdale regional previously for a more severe pain and I walked out! The team at this location (AVmc)is amazing. They really cared and listened to me. I honestly wanted to cry on my way out because I felt so much better. Thank you to everyone :)

It’s always easy checking in which I am thankful for. The staff is friendly and respectful. I’ve had to notarize medical documents here for many patients and have never had an issue.

My father in law was a patient in ICU & passed away last night. I just wanted to say thank you to his Nurse Isidro, he was absolutely amazing.
Isidro showed compassion, & kindness to the whole family & treated my father in law with the dignity & respect he deserved. He made sure he was comfortable while he transitioned.
Thank you Isidro for explaining everything along the way & taking the time to listen to us share our stories about my father in law.

My mother was taken by ambulance to the emergency room 5 days ago. The staff was professional, helpful and caring. She was admitted to the 3rd floor after a few hours wait for a room because they were very busy. Once upstairs my mother had absolutely the best nurses both day and night shift taking care of her. Her doctor was very thorough and kind. All of the hospital staff was very professional and attentive. No one ever wants their family member to be in the hospital, but our experience with AV Hospital was a positive one. Thank you for all your care. We appreciate all of you!!!

I was just at the AV hospital sent from Kaiser. This was my third procedure at this hospital. The first time was for a lumpectomy the second time was for a rhinoplasty sinus operation and this third time was the only time I have stayed overnight. I ended up staying two night. I am so happy and satisfied with the care I received. The nurses were so kind and very thorough with my diabetes care. I have zero complaints. The day nurses busy but responded fast to any requests or questions I had. The night nurses were also very kind and quiet because it was time to sleep. A special thanks to nurse Lolita nurse William nurse Regilio? Nurse Gabby nurse Rogelio and beauty young female nurse with a very difficult name to remember. Thank you for taking such good care of me at my weakest hours.

Top notch caring staff, experts at their jobs who cooperate and work well in all departments.

My newborn baby was brought in as an emergency as his flu virus symptoms had escalated beyond our medical control. He was admitted immediately he was given meds for his high fever and was put on oxygen and examined promptly by the ER team. The ER dept was very busy with this hectic flu season and I appreciate their upbeat and hardworking attitudes. We were then admitted to Pediatrics department and honestly every nurse that is working up there Thank you for your hard work care and overtime! You are all Rockstars! Even the Peds Md's were great and very informative. I'm glad my baby is better after 4 days in the hospital. Oh and the cafeteria has pretty good food choices.. except for pizza can y'all get a better crust pleaseee lol but the omelettes, oatmeal bar, onion rings, chicken tenders, bacon cheeseburger and salad bar are all fuego!

I’ve been to Antelope Valley Hospital several times in the past few months and every time I’ve had a great experience. The wait time is not ideal, but they do what they can with what resources they have. The doctors and nurses listened to my concerns and were able to treat my pain. I was treated by Ernie Hernandez and Gayle Sakaguchi. Overall, I’ve had great experiences!

The only thing I wish I could change is the size of the green area waiting room. Many people are left standing in the waiting room and even the halls. There’s definitely not enough seating.

They have the best nurses and doctors! My dad was in the hospital for his birthday and his nurses were kind enough to get him cupcakes and sing happy birthday to him! Thank you so much to the nurses, doctors, and emt’s that took care of him!

Went in two times on 7/14 and 7/20 for back pain, both times got a really nice lady at Triage that knew exactly what was bothering me and got me some medications that helped relieve the pain.
The rest of the staff was nice and friendly as well, and the visits didn't take too long.

Recently went in for a surgical procedure. All I can say is that the services I received went above and beyond any expectations I had. The staff was professional when required, casual when appropriate, and courteous always. Even the food was passable (Hospital Cook has got to be toughest, most thankless job on the planet.)!

In brief, I don't have a bad word to say about my four-day stay.

The ED staff was Exceptional, pleasant everyone was very nice, and it’s is nice to be treated well since your baby is the patient in need of help especially as a scared mom. Caring, smiling and laughing is a good atmosphere for patients. I got all that from the admitting rep Triage, nurses, RT, support staff doctors.

The second part was The pediatric nurses who took care of her at the WIP. Such amazing nurses who really do care about the well being of there pediatric patients. It was such a pleasant experience my daughter was well taken care off. Thank you AV hospital for all you do. Continue to be amazing lots off love from my family ❤❤❤❤❤

Be grateful to your local doctors, nurses and medical teams, They really try there best.

My brother was transferred to you today September the 16th and released later in the day after staying in your emergency room all day he was transferred from Palmdale Regional because of our insurance carrier Kaiser that has an agreement with you I believe. By the end of the day you had decided that he could be released he has two pins in his hip a blood clot unable to walk and you just released him saying that the blood clot has not moved to his lung well I hope not but at any time it could. I cannot figure out how a person with Parkinson's two pins in their hip cannot walk could be released from your facility without you making sure that they were either transported to a rehab center or something other than saying hey basically go home and do what you do.

Came in to the ER for my 9 year olds severe stomach pain. Sadly he had to get surgery for his appendix. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly nurses that made us feel cared for. Now my son is in recovery doing great, we’re so glad we got the team of Drs and nurses that made us feel so comfortable through out this whole stay. I would totally recommend this hospital.
