Los Angeles County Fire Dept. Station 129

I took a class here in high school the expierence was nothing close to what I imagined, the things we did and learned were unbelievable, this class goes details, a lotof people dropped the class because od the screaming and yelling, they definatly separate the weak from the strong to see who is comitted to the peogram, good luck.

I thought firemen were supposed to help civilians in need.
My 72-year-old mother called up the station asking if there is a representative that could install fire alarms/smoke detectors in her home because she can’t get up on ladders (a previous battle with cancer weakened her body and prevents her from doing such activities). Captain “Yes’s” (not sure of the spelling of his name) response to her was to look it up on a YouTube video and do it herself.
From my understanding, firemen are supposed to help civilians in need, especially the elderly.
Would the firemen like it if their mothers and grandmothers were turned down when they needed help?
You guys get cats out of trees!! Aren’t people worth more than cats?!
Think about it and try to show the respect to others that you guys expect because you’re firemen!

10/04/21 Update:
I called the headquarters in the heart of L. A. and at least that representative told me that they use My Safe L. A. and then he gave me the phone number for the Public Information Services which will lead us in the right direction!
It’s more information than just, “I’m sorry ma’am, but we can’t accommodate you!” that Fire Station 129 keeps saying!!
