We couldn’t be happier with John and Libby and the entire crew at Advanced Construction. Our 1970’s kitchen was in major need of an update. After years of thinking about it we knew we wanted to maintain the existing footprint in every way because it suited our needs. We had done A LOT of cooking in that kitchen and knew well how we used it. The idea was to change out EVERYTHING within that footprint with new and more functional cabinetry, surfaces, flooring, lighting, and appliances—on a strict budget. I knew from the first phone call with Libby that we would work well together. She’s a designer and I’m an artist who likes COLOR and Libby was so receptive. Their initial quote was clear and detailed enough that we could toss things out here and there that were beyond our budget without harm to the overall plan. When we made our first visit to the design studio, Libby and I were like gleeful kids, playing with materials I’d brought in and drawing from her collection of samples and colors. Demolition started right on time and the detailed schedule kept us abreast of what was happening when. The crew consists of delightful folks John and Libby have used for years, and who work together seamlessly. Communication was a breeze during every step of the project. Our new kitchen is beautiful. Advanced Construction gets an A+ from us.

I have been meaning to do this review for a very long time. Before 2019 is over I wanted to share my experience and how thankful I am. I had water damage a year ago in December that came from my upstairs master bathroom that went into my kitchen. After calling my insurance and making a claim I looked online and found advanced construction and design read the reviews and gave them a call. They came immediately and assessed my damage, dealt with my insurance and took the necessary steps which can be a lengthy process. Long story short they did such an amazing job with my kitchen I couldn't be more satisfied with the project. They gave me a calendar/timeline with who was coming what was being done. John and his crew were very professional at all times. His designer works closely with you to have the best result. They were even able to get me more money for my repairs. I can't express enough my gratitude. As a homeowner you want things done right, the quality of the cabinetry, counters and work is of high scale. I will continue to refer to them and use them for future projects because after a beautiful kitchen I need new floor. :))

Last year, Advanced Construction and Design remodeled our guest bathroom. We were so impressed with their designing, scheduling, and workmanship, we hired them this year to up-date our kitchen. Again, we are thrilled with the results. It was a pleasure to work with Libby and John. We certainly appreciated their quick phone calls or texts back to us when we had a question or concern. Their team of craftsmen did beautiful work, were friendly, and very respectful of our home. They are a company with heart and take care to keep customers comfortable, informed, and happy. John and Libby are an absolute joy to work with! They turned our gross, old main bathroom into a gorgeous space that look forward to spending time in. The custom cabinets are premium quality as are all the other materials they work with, so know my bathroom will last and add value to our house for a long time. was definitely well worth the cost. John and his team did a small bathroom remodel for us and it was really nice working with them! From the estimate to selecting the beautiful tile and cabinets was a great experience. My family and I had an amazing experience working with John and his staff. I have to begin by saying that John's staff weren't people he "employed," he treated them as family and everyone we encountered worked well with each other. That dynamic helped to make our remodel smooth and pleasant. John's designer was marvelous to work with. She had an intuitive grasp on my design aesthetic and always let me bounce ideas off of her while keeping me grounded, realistic and most importantly on budget! In addition, she made sure to see things from all angles, thinking and suggesting things that I never would have on my own. As a result, our kitchen and pantry are not only beautiful but extremely efficient and functional. In my opinion, the thing that made our remodel so successful, pleasant and smooth was the collaborative nature between the designer and I. We came together to create something beautiful and John and his fabulous team made the kitchen and pantry a reality. The execution, craftsmanship, and professionalism that went into our kitchen will last the test of time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us realize a dream!

John has helped us with all kinds of house projects, from broken pipes, to putting up drywall, to fixing a leak on our roof to installing a proper drain for our water heater. Each time he completed the work skillfully and exactly as promised. I can tell you from experience that John is a trustworthy contractor and would definitely recommend him!

John Strain at advanced construction and design as well as his crew and designer took my drab kitchen to fabulous. They did it on time and on budget, and made a stressful situation calm and fun. I would highly recommend John Strain and Advanced Construction and Design and have given them a 5 star rating! Not only did John and his crew do a fantastic job, but I was under strict time constraints as to when the job had be be completed. He and his team worked literally night and day to ensure that it was finished on schedule. The workers were friendly, professional, on time and thorough. They did a variety of jobs including bathroom/kitchen remodel with great design suggestions, painting, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. They even did some extra small jobs for me to help me out! His price was very fair, and if there was a problem, it was taken care of right away. (We realized the roof had a leak.) I felt like this company not only does quality work, but truly cares about their customers.

John was at our house in a day to do the free estimate on a deck demolition and rebuild. His estimate was way below the other estimate we had. It was a quality job that was done in four days. He also gave us suggestions on how we could make other improvements. We will be having him back to do more work on the house.

My Hero!!!! The expert designer came out right away and helped me choose beautiful colors for the outside of our home. We will enjoy this new look, AND it will surely help when it comes time to sell. She was also affordable, and so very kind. I can't say enough about her. :)
