Golden Waffle Café

This dinner is definitely a gem. The food is amazingly good, and the service is great.
I'm not personally a big fan of waffles but I couldn't resist. I ordered a pecan waffle and it was delicious. I ordered bacon as a side and those bacon strips were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the waffle combo and my daughter had the french toast. They both were very satisfied with it. I highly recommend it! Worth every single money expend.

We had a really great breakfast here. So many options! This place has an oldschool look and feel. The service was extremely prompt and very friendly. Looking forward to returning

Went there for togo breakfast. When we first walked in there was a waitress pretty much yelling in spanish to a patron. Didn't seem to me that yelling was necessary, they weren't very far apart .
The waitress that took my order(not the yeller). Was wonderful. She was polite, pretty, friendly and efficient. We got our food fast. It was good.

I walked in to the establishment, tumble weeds could be seen, the sound of the old west could be heard as I entered (imagine a john Wayne bar scene) I was staring at people left and right, they stared at me... I sat down with a grim stare and asked the waitress "I'll have the strongest drink you have". She replied "ummm sir, I think you're in the wrong place, this is the Golden waffle cafe, I can bring a coffee if you'd like?"...I stared menacingly and replied...Ok! That sounds delicious! Anyway, Awesome place to come and have a good waffle, eggs, and just plain good ole classic breakfast. Give them a try!

This is an amazing breakfast spot with a wide variety of options! The service was incredibly friendly, quick, and attentive. The restaurant has a cozy and lively atmosphere.

Nice diner. Milwaukee omelette is really good with mushrooms and the right amount of cheese. Good sized portions for the price. You get a side of hash browns or country fries and a choice of bread or biscuits with gravy. More food than I could finish. The staff is very friendly. Will be back to try some of their waffles.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Golden Waffle Cafe in Placerville, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the California omelet, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best omelets I've ever had. We went here for breakfast today. The place feels like a real throwback diner. Service was fast, and our food came out very quickly and it was hot. We had an omelet with hashbrowns on the side and a plain waffle (a normal diner waffle). It was all good. The staff was all very nice!

I've held out on making a review for a while because I don't want everyone to be crowding mine and my wife's favorite diner but this is the best breakfast I've ever had. Never once have I had a bad meal and the staff are all friendly and ready to serve. The chefs practically know mine and my wife's order the second we walk in the door. If you are looking for good food and great atmosphere come try it! Just try not to crowd the place, I want my booth!

Customer service was spot on, the lady was very friendly and when we went she was under staff she did awesome, we where a very big group of 17 and she nailed it👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great place for breakfast takes me back to being a kid and my dad would take me to a place like G. W. C. Breakfast only but best way to start your day in hamgtown.

The food and atmosphere was exactly what one would expect at a waffle house diner. The service was fast and the server was friendly. Prices are fair. The coffee was tasty. Definitely eat here again.

Wonderful last stop dinner before you head into the woods. Big plates for a small budget. Great service, bottomless coffee. Enjoy it every time.
