Eskaton Village Placerville

My mom lived at Placerville Eskaton for 10 months before her passing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Placerville Eskaton. Every single one of the staff members are kind, fun and helpful. They keep their residents busy with fun activities and field trips. My mom thought the food was great! The grounds and facility are always kept so beautiful. I would highly recommend Eskaton, and if I ever need a facility like this, Placerville Eskaton will definitely be my choice.

I’ve lived here at EVP for about two years and it’s been an absolute joy, every minute of it.
Everything about being here is delightful. I haven’t met a neighbor I didn’t like, as everyone is so kind and pleasant all of the time, from neighbors to staff. I can also say I’ve never had a meal I didn’t enjoy, the options and availability in our dining, along with the food being so consistent and well made, it’s all fabulous and I’m so thankful for it all.
The activities and options here are also wonderful, from group shopping trips to swimming, but my absolutely favorite activity here would have to be the live performed concerts we have regularly. The variety in music and genres, there’s never been a performer I didn’t enjoy.
It’s so wonderful here and I can absolutely say that This is my home, through and through, and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. I am very thankful and my family and I found this place for me.

Eskaton is now my second home and all the residents are like family to me. I have the best team to work with. They are always supportive, kind, understanding. We have experienced many wonderful and successful events together. I look forward to spending many more years to come.

I have been working for Eskaton Village Placerville for almost close to a year! It has been a fun working for Senior care at such a high working establishment! Eskaton Village has taught me overall good caring techniques for seniors and taught me some heath aspects as well! To sum this up, Eskaton is a fun, exhilarating, a loving community for all who lives there or visiting! Thank you Eskaton!

I worked with Eskaton Village Placerville for years and I loved it there. Staff provide the elderly with many activities to entertain and enjoy themselves and most importantly make them feel at home. I’m grateful Eskaton that even until now that I am not working there anymore they are still given me the opportunity to volunteer at their wonderful facility. I’m able to learn from the working staff, what they do on a daily bases to ensure the Resident’s are happy and their needs are cared for. Also I am given the opportunity to have conversations with the Resident's of Eskaton and that make me very happy. Overall Eskaton is a place residents can call safe and home.

I love working at Eskaton!! I have worked for long while at Eskaton Placerville and could positively say I love it. All my coworkers are so kind and we all enjoy caring for are wonderful residents.

Working at Eskaton with the other employees and residents is every day a joy. Everyone is kind, caring, and tries their very, very best (plus some) every day to make it a good and kind one for the residents and each other. I can’t put into words how much working here means to me and others and I look forward to it everyday! It’s a wonderful, wonderful place for the residents as well- a place of comfort and care!

Eskaton is a very nice and clean place. The staffs are welcoming and pleasant. They have superb facilities. They always offer variety of events and entertainments. I would like to commend the hardworking staffs who are taking good care of the residents and making their stay fun and memorable.

Eskaton is a wonderful place, secretly tucked away in the foothills with beautiful landscape, views of the sierras and a comfortable rural setting. The people here are warm, friendly, reassuring and very caring about the residents who live here. It is a great place to consider for a loved one's home who might just need that extra touch!!

My mom has lived at Eskaton for 4 years: 2 in the cottages and 2 in assisted living. It's a beautiful facility, but the best part is the caring people who work there. They always greet her by name and with a smile. They care for her like a member of their own family.

As a volunteer I am privileged to interact with the wonderful residents and staff at Eskaton Placerville! This absolutely beautiful community is the perfect combination of engaged, energetic Residents and dedicated, enthusiastic staff members and administration - you can feel the amazing energy the moment you set foot on the campus! Thank you Eskaton for so warmly welcoming me into your vibrant community. Being with all of you is the highlight of my week!

Having worked and lived in this community for years I can honestly say that Eskaton Village Placerville is amazing! The staff is so caring and the residents are a joy to be around. My husband and I enjoy serving the residents through musical ministry with our friends.

The staff is amazing. They are attentive, caring and anxious to help. The staff and residents are friendly and welcoming, like a family. The community is placed in a scenic mountainous location. It is a pleasure to work in such a beautiful, family-like atmosphere.

Came in to apply for a job here and loved how clean and well maintained the facility was. Was also greeted by an amazingly sweet young lady named Shalyssa. Managed to help me out and was able to direct me where i needed to go. So thank you very much. Definitely would recommended this place to allot of friends as family members with elderly parents or grand parents who need that extra help.
