We stopped by on a Monday afternoon driving back from the mountains. We ordered a wet chicken burrito and fish tacos. On the chicken burrito, we substituted grilled chicken and it was nearly $4 for that. The grilled chicken was dry and the burrito needed more flavor.

Fish tacos tasted great. Salsa and chips are great too.

The portion is smaller than other places but a good size enough for lunch.

We were on the road so we skipped the good drinks. Lots of variety to choose from there.

Enjoyed a late lunch at Paco's. Hubby devoured his wet el pastor burritos. I munched on a combo plate featuring a cheese enchilada and chile verde tamale. The enchilada sauce had a nice kick to it, and the beans were super creamy. Would visit again!

The carnitas was great, shrimp tacos good and tamale fantastic according to my dad. Considering how many of those same orders we've placed other places, Paco's stands out.

Stopped by here for lunch with kids. The place is immaculate. Very clean, inviting, beautiful ethnic decor. Once we sat down, we got the complimentary house chips and salsa - all made fresh at this restaurants. And let me just say they were the best l've ever had, and l've had a lot of chips and salsa. We ordered the wet burrito and it was huge and an absolute deliciousness. 2 adults could barely finish it and it was so flavorful and beautiful. All in all, completely amazing dining experience for the whole family from start to finish! Great prices, too! Come in, you will leave full and HAPPY! :)

As someone with severe allergies (onions and garlic) its hard to find somewhere that understands when I bring it up. Tonight my husband and I went in and I asked the cashier what if anything I could possibly eat with my allergies (I fully understand that sometimes I cant eat at all the restaurants, but my husband can) and she went into ask the chef immediately. She was able to tell me what I was able to order and even went back multiple times to check that NOTHING in my food had any allergens. I got home and immediately tried the food and OMG it is so good!! I got a chimichanga with grilled chicken, lettuce and cheese only and it was made perfect; hubby got the wet burrito. I can't tell you enough how great the food was, but more so that the staff cared enough to make sure I had a good experience. Will definitely be going back soon!

Great little lunch spot! The food came out very quickly and the staff was really nice! The atmosphere is really clean and colorful. There’s also lots of space. Everything is reasonably priced. They have several margarita flavors. They make an amazing quesadilla as well

Food is tasty and comes out piping hot from the kitchen.quesabirria tacos are excellent.

Glad that the freeway was packed going home and made us look for a place to eat. Paco's Mexican Cuisine took care of that.

Paco's is cute, clean, friendly, locally-owned, and super yummy!!!!

The al pastor alone is reason enough to go - it reminds us exactly of the al pastor we had in Mexico City. So authentic!

Also worth noting: The chips are the thin and perfectly crunchy kind, the salsa flavorful with a little kick, and everything from enchiladas to fajitas and of course, the al pastor, was all packed full of deliciousness.

All in all, we enjoyed everything on our plates (plus two baskets of chips and salsa...) and leftl the restaurant feeling very satisfied and contented... until next time, Paco's!

I've no idea what possessed me to order shrimp and fish tacos in landlocked Placerville, but they were some of the best I have had. The seasoning was delicious, cabbage was fresh, and pickled onions were yummy. Good service, good prices, and pleasant seating/decor.

I was looking for 𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑎 Mexican cuisine in mid-Placerville -- and I found it! The man who took my to-go order was friendly and precise. He seemed to have plenty of time for my questions and substitutions. But then I noticed he was the only one working the floor. When I asked, "Who is the owner?" he pointed to himself with a smile. Paco himself was working hard that day, but I could see the customers were happy. My fish tacos and cheese enchilada were just the way I like them. Paco's points of view on world conditions were well developed and shrewd. I'm going back!
