London Best Fish & Chip

Food is fantastic. My husband and I had the clam strips and the cod and it was what we were hoping for. The breading on the cod was nice and crisp, at so many places we’ve gone to, it gets soggy so fast. This was wonderful. My husband is not a white fish fan and he loved the cod. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very calm and nice. We loved watching hunt deadliest catch, brought back memories. I grew up eating fish and chips in Ireland and it felt like home. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Easily the best fish and chips in the area. A nice selection of fried seafood, but the standard pollak fish and chips is fantastic!

Big long pieces of fish. Ordered the 3 Pollock Meal, very tasty. Not saturated w grease, light crispy flavorful breading. Service was polite and quick. Paid $ 16 . Tarter is super good and so is the malt vinegar . Ask for a second cup if ordering ToGO as the fish pieces are big

The batter is perfect, crispy from first to last bite. Insulated the fish perfect, hot from first to last bite, didn't get soggy. Pollock, catfish, cod big pieces

Very good food. We got cod and catfish. Catfish has more flavor but they were both good. Clean place. Clean bathroom. Nice customer service.

One of the best cod fish and chips I have ever had. Nice portion, not greasy and crispy coating. Highly recommend.

The food is always amazing and tastes so fresh. The service is quick and very friendly. Love going there with my daughter.

We go there often and have never been disappointed. Food is prepared to perfection and tastes GREAT! Staff is is a pleasure to deal with. Glad they are not close to our home, I'd weight another hundred pounds

Fish and chips always seems like a gamble but not at this place. I've eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. The chicken and coleslaw are excellent as well. It's a bit pricey but so is everywhere else. The service is always prompt and friendly.

Stopped here while charging the car, and what a pleasant surprise! Better fish and chips than I have found anywhere in the East Bay, and friendly service too :)

We have found the food to be freshly prepared (burn-your-mouth-hot-out-of-the-oil), seasoned perfectly, not oily. We love that for a nominal amount you can swap fried zucchini for the chips. Fries are thin, crispy tender, not soggy potato wedges/paddles. Husband and wife work the entire restaurant. We look forward to stopping for lunch in Placerville. We highly recommend you try it. Other patrons take their food to go.

This place has the BEST fish and chips I have ever had!!!
I have just discovered them and I have already been there 3 times !!! Try them out.... you will not be disappointed !

Best fish and chips I've ever had

Surprisingly, this is very good! I was recommended this place and not disappointed. I didn't know what to expect but when I came in, they were very friendly and the food came out hot and crispy, and just perfect. This review is not about whether it is considered "authentic" or not, but whether it is delicious, and I give this a high rating for deliciousness! Pollock is amazing.
Pros: Lots of options, high quality, fair prices, and great service!
Cons: hours are minimal and closed Sundays.

Excellent great food! Drive 30 minutes just to get it..... it's that good! Some of the best fish n chips I've ever had! My family loves their chicken strips. Big portions too. Can't say enough good stuff about them. If you like fish n chips u gotta try it. A little pricey.

I get fish and chips at every restaurant where it is available so I've probably had fish and chips hundreds of times in my life. This was by far the best I've ever had. We got the pollock and the cod and the pollock was my favorite though they were both fantastic. And the cheese sticks were super yummy too. We stopped on our way home from Apple Hill and are going to make it an annual stop every year and any other time we visit the area. The best!

My husband and I stumbled here after spending some time at the river and we were very impressed! We ordered the fish and 4 shrimp combo and the fish and 3 scallops combo and it was delicious! We live down in shingle springs and would definitely come back up just to enjoy their food again! The man behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a yummy lunch, we will be back!
