My husband and I lived here with our 12 year old son 7 years ago while our new house was in escrow. It is still the lowest price in town. Manager Stephanie has immensely improved this establishment with her professional hospitality and cleanliness standards. Motel could use some upgrades and more amenities.

Great Motel!!! May appear shabby, but inside there is up to date furnishings, hardwood floor, and being best deal in town for week rates or by night, the space is twice the size of anywhere else in El Dorado County... 2 room and full bath, full fridge kitchenette, right off Broadway just out of dodge of downtown. Pets welcome if there wasn't enough bonuses already. Downside is they are full without vacancy 85% of the time.

The new manager is friendly and always willing to help. Rooms smell clean finally. Better then its ever been in 15 years.

I'm staying here right now. A little run down. Convenience store a block away. Nice management. Eccentric passers-by for scenery. Near Hwy 50 and 49. Good for a discreet get-away, weary travelers up or down the hill, not far from Red Hawk Casino. Call ahead

I was unaware of the history of the town before coming and after looking at Old downtown I started to put two and two together it is a beautiful Town beautiful scenery the folks are pretty friendly overall
