The shop reps of this place are very knowledgeable and friendly. Even gave my skater kids a couple of stickers when we let them know we were from out of town. Every skateboard need from hardware to appeal is here to purchase.

My boy got a full deck to put together himself, he's totally stoked and the guy was very upfront and honest and explained his options. I liked that he didn't push nothing... But gave us our options and left it up to us. Couldn't ask for better service, thanks!

On our way to Lake Tahoe, we needed to get our snowboard waxed before going to the mountain the next day. Google only showed board shops in Tahoe. So I was surprised to see this shop in Placerville where we were staying the night. The owner still helped us even though he was closing early. That's why I'd rather support small businesses bcoz they actually care. Thanks Hangtown Skate Shop! We'll stop in when we have more time.

I needed a ptex candle for minor ski base repair and stopped in to see if by chance the skate shop had snowsport stuff. Sure enough they stock all basic ski and snowboard tuning stuff. Kelly was really helpful. I highly recommend this small skate shop in downtown Placerville.
