Bene Ristorante Italiano

I chose the Linguini with Clams, Flavorful perfection. I will return, next time -- a partner to share, a glass (or two) of wine, a beautiful salad and star of the show, tasty delight! Garlic was mellow, oil/butter soft and experience, excellent.

I love Bene! The food is consistently excellent; the bar has everything (they'll even do a "French 75"). Their calzones are perfect: The dough is thin & they aren't soggy.

The restaurant itself is comfy & the bar has beautiful woodwork. The service is impeccable. I wish they were open for lunch, but alas, only dinner is available.

Had another amazing experience at Bene! The food is always delicious and fresh. Our server (Sara) was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere feels authentic to Italian style and is well kept and clean. We have eaten here before and will come back again!

One of my favorites in this town! This place is always buzzing with energy. Expect a wait and it’s worth it. Put your name in and go for a walk and check out downtown. Delish food, great service, and we always walk away feeling good. Scored the window seat this time 😍

Enjoyed a nice Sunday family dinner. Filet special was cooked perfectly. Margarita Pizza with Roasted garlic and lasagna 😋

My first time there with my bestie and she was raving about the food. We went there for dinner and omg food was amazing. The dessert was... well way beyond words can describe. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting.

Bene is awesome. The bar is amazingly designed, and serves full alcohol+wine & beer. The food is authentic made in house Italian. Everything is delicious. If you get dessert, get Panna Cotta.

Wow! This place remodeled in the last year...it doesn't even look the same. The food is still amazing, but the ambiance and seating is way better and now they have a full bar. The drinks are awesome...Aviation was the best. The bacon stuffed mushrooms are delicious. The affogato alone is a reason to come here

Such a wonderful experience! Me and my boyfriend went here for our anniversary, and it's a a really nice restaurant, with employees who are great at what they do and very friendly.
We felt right at home, there was some Frank Sinatra on in the background, and we were able to comfortably talk to each other. The paintings on the wall were the eye catchers, besides the super cool pizza oven in the back. We got seated right away, and we got our first plate within 10 minutes, and pizza in 30 min.
The food was AMAZING!! It tasted authentic, fresh and was delicious. Our waittress suggested the cheesy garlic bread for an app, 2 small pizzas: margherita napoleonata (with buffalo mozz) and the prosciutto arugula pizza, then our waitress suggested the Panna cotta for dessert. Our waitress was really nice and knew what she was talking about, the bus boys were very courteous.
I haven't had such good service AND food in a long time. Worth the money, I had such a fun time trying new things. Great choice restaurant for our anniversary date. We will definitely be coming to Bené again in the future!

Wow. This place is as good as any Italian restaurant in Little Italy in NYC (Manhattan or The Bronx)! The pesto is a creamy masterpiece. The staff is great and the place is small and cozy. We'll be going back often.

One of the best Italian food I've ever had. I stopped by into this small but beautiful town Placerville on the way back from Lake Tahoe and had our dinner at Bene Ristorante Italiano. The food was delicious. We ordered 'Fettucine Vegetariano' and 'Spaghetti Aglio E Olio' for our dinner. The price is a little costly then it justifies with the taste and the service. Staff was humble and friendly. FIVE star without any doubt. A must try!!

Amazing food...so much so that I totally forgot to take pics! Had the cheese tortellini with mushroom cream sauce. Just perfect. The linguine with clams was a gorgeous heap of clams hiding the pasta and the pasta primavera had a great assortment of very tasty veg. Service was discreet yet attentive. Not sure if they have outdoor tables in season. Can't wait to go back.

Me and my buddy Corby Faber have stopped in there 5 or 6 times in the last 5 years. The staff is friendly and professional. We happened to meet the owner Ben and got to chat a few times. He seemed very genuine in his conversation and his passion for food, customers and very much so towards his employees. I have ordered pizza and other fine Italian dishes. They have always been very good to great. I love the atmosphere also. It should be on everyone's must try list. The beer and wine choices are quite good also!

This is only the second time we have been to Bene Ristorante Italiano. Once for lunch and tonight for dinner. This is one of many wonderful places to dine downtown Placerville, however I rank Bene Ristorante Italiano in the top two. It rivals any Italian restaurant I have been to East Coast or West in the trendiest of cities. The entree selection is relatively minimal but the dishes are superb! Hubby and I sat at the handsomely ornate bar tonight and enjoyed chatting with our servers who were a delight! Obviously the owner takes pride in his establishment and requires the same from the people who work with him. I wish them all a huge success. We will be back soon!

Really good Italian food. Very authentic. Wish they had had calamari on the menu for an appetizer, but all in all a really good place to eat. If you're in the area and looking for Italian food, I highly recommend this location.

This has my favorite Alfredo ever! Great place for a dinner date or with a small group. Everything has always been delicious. The ravioli paired with the Alfredo sauce is the only thing I order, can't imagine anything else would make me happier!

All the food was excellent, service was amazing. My husband said it was the best pesto he has ever had - a huge complement from a pesto lover. The filet was delicious and also the seafood linguine packed with seafood! We left very pleased and will come again.
