It's very nice and beautiful. There are a couple of farms to go and have fun.. All ways go in the afternoon as it is less chilly.
I went to boa vista and apple ridge one. I also went to drew beans and it was very beautiful, I loved the set up.
There is also a lot to shop at these farms. Apple ridge has a display of goods by local vendors on weekends that we can purchase.

Have to give them a 5-star rating just for being open on a Sunday afternoon in late January. But besides that it had a great selection of items to see, plus they were making great brisket sandwiches, that were excellent. Glad that we stopped by and you will too!!

Always drop by here when I visit Sacramento. Great variety of apples and other produce. Pink lady apple and olympic pears are my favorite. They also have food options - brisket sandwiches, apple donuts and other sweets, and of course a hot apple cider hits the spot on a cold day.

So many fun places to stop! Gorgeous drive through the countryside, that you'd swear you were in Vermont. Lots of quaint orchards and wineries. Single-lane road on each side, so prepare for slow driving on the weekends. Try to visit during the week.

Always a seasonal favorite!! Love taking guests "up the hill". Best if experienced BEFORE Thanksgiving. Favorite Ranches: O'Halloran's; Apple Ridge; High Hill; Boa Vista; Abel's. Great for Wine Tasting, too: Madrona (@ High Hill); Edio (@ Delfino's) $$$; Via Romano & Bumgarner.

Visited the Delfino farm. Delicious cider, beautiful views and amazing walkin apple pies. Definitely will come back again. The place is not too big but the views are great. Good for getting away from the busier farms. Plenty of parking as well.

We were passing by Apple Hill on our way home to Nevada and had heard about Boa Vista orchards so we decided to see what they had going. I have to say they make things out of apples I've never heard of. Anyway we got on blackberry pie and an old fashioned apple pie. The pes were delicious and priced as you would expect, this is a destination I would recommend you check out..

Took a group of 36 people to visit apple hill farms. I absolutely loved it and had a great time and all my friends also enjoyed the time and experiences there. Place are very clean, organized, and spacious. The smell of bbq and apple cider and pies filled the store with aroma. I definitely come back when in season.

Picked up some wine and then stopped by to grab a pie or two. I like to go when it's raining or cloudy. The traffic up here can be challenging if you commute all week and run into a busy weekend up here its more stress. You will enjoy it more without the hustle and hassle of the crowds if its cloudy and chance of rain. Either way it's beautiful up here and the drive is scenic.

Arrival in January a day after it snowed. Apples were already picked but got to experience the snow in the sun. A must visit if you enjoy light snow

Boa Vista was on point this day. We decided to stop by here on our way back from South Lake Tahoe and this place did not disappoint. First off we went and got some food and I went with the brisket sandwich and whoever was grilling that day damn the meat was tender. The brisket had just perfect amount of char to it but inside of that was just so juicy and tender it was perfection. The kids got the polish dog and hot dog and they were not small but the kids devoured them in their entirety. Next up was getting pastries now I don't know if you have ever had a apple donut but ah man they are so fluffy and moist even though they seemed to be deep fried. Also on this day the fritters were buy one get one free so we ended up with a lot more fritters than I was expecting. We also bought some pies apple, blueberry and blackberry and it turns it was buy one pie get a small pie for free and the small pies are huge in themselves. In the end we eneded up with six pies. Definitely recommend this place for any one passing through and looking for a cool place the get fresh fruit, pies, pastries and lunch.

Don’t want to miss a great time with the family and pick up your Christmas tree and get some apples the way they are supposed to taste, not the kind you get at you local market

Fun place to visit on a weekday. During peak season weekends are to be avoided if at all possible. Tons of places for a picnic. Add some wine, beer, fresh pie or any of the millions of spreads, jelly, sauces available at most of the farms.

Great place any time of year. Big Apple fan here. Love caramel apples and Granny Smith's. They also have a wide selection of in season produce and a variety of other apple and fruit bars products.

Best time is the fall but it gets really busy then so expect long lines and large crowds.
