Cool little bar , cool atmosphere the bartender she makes great drinks and was friendly to my wife and I we just made a quick stop there on our way to Tahoe. We been going there for years and will continue to!

Wow, they really did an amazing job at their remodel and creative added flair everywhere. The lighting was very cool too. Fun place to hang out for sure!

I am a quadriplegic retired vet and was needing some help getting from my car in front of the Liars Bench to my room on the second floor at the Carey house hotel across the street when an Angel named Brandy of whom works at the Liars Bench came out of the bar got down on her knees, looked me in the eye and said "I am going to get a wheelchair from the hospital and I will get you to your room" And that's exactly what she diskless her heart. There aren't of those kind people around now a days. She is a gift from good that will never be forgotten. Thanks again Brandy. I hope you see this post.

Very popular local bar with a very unique clientele. Excellent place to stop over om the way to or from South Lake Tahoe. Fun town. Fun bar. I chose to live in Gold Country. I love it here!

The last dive bar standing in Placerville and a historical treasure! Amazing bartenders, small town feel and small town attitudes with a worldly welcoming vibe and old school prices. Gotta make it a pit stop on your tour of the gold country or passing through on your way to Tahoe! 😄

This place feels like home!! Definitely a favorite with the locals. Great people, always a good time. Best local prices and the only REAL bar in town that doesn't close early.

Best men's haircut/ barber in placerville in my opinion. Place is welcoming, the barbers are easy going and hold convos , funny af . Bowtie and ray ray are very good peeps . Check em out

Stiff drinks served by a pro! Stopped in for a quick visit and I'm glad we did. Old school dive type spot with all the classics. We will return soon.
