Lewis Grace Winery & Tasting Room

What a fantastic place this is!
We were there on day when a storm came in. Sitting on the back patio, under a umbrella, sipping wine and enjoying the clouds, lightning and thunder roll through.
The people there were so nice and the amount of awards the wines have was pretty cool.
We will certainly be going back again.... And, again.

great wine and beautiful views!! loved my experience with a tasting here. we had a 6 wine tasting menu - 2 whites, 1 rose, and 3 reds. their wines have a bunch of awards!! the staff and atmosphere was amazing! i hope to be back soon!

Probably the best wines in the area. Don't waste your money going to Napa, there isn't a winery there that can hold a candle to Lewis &Grace.

We joined the club last year after attending a birthday party for a friend. It’s very reasonably priced and we can’t say enough great things about the winery. Cute, down to earth and the staff is amazing. Their wines are amazing and we love the monthly membership only party. Visit them, you won’t be disappointed.

Absoultely beautiful! Wine is so good! Great views of the landscape and Tahoe. The staff was super sweet! The tastings are only $5 for 6 wines and a glass is $7.50! You can also bring your own food and picnic. It’s perfect!!

Another great visit, sunshine in the valley, started snowing when we got there! Super service moving us into their barn for the first time ever! Great folks making great wine!

Got there just an hour before closing, totally worth it. The staff are super friendly and the wine is delightful. Next time I'll get there earlier 🙂

We stopped here with my cousin and tasted wine. The staff was wonderful and so friendly! We bought the Trevor Grace Trouriga and the Fashionably Late wine! We will go home with great memories and great wine!

Truly the best wine in the area. After visiting a few dozen wineries in the area this winery has amazing wines and amazing service. We have actually had people join their membership after having wines that we have served. Add it to your list of places to visit. They also have a great view.

We ended up going close to closing time, and they still allowed us a tasting. Wine and service, both nice. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and visit for the outside seating.

Always fantastic wines, friendly staff and a great view! A great little gem off the beaten path and worth spending some time at! Look for the "TG" signature wines for some truly great expressions.

Been wine tasting here for over 2 years. Never have had a bad experience here. Wines are very good. Love the blends and the cabernet. Always have brought food in with my for an outdoor picnics are great with amazing views. Best place in the foothill!

The best wine in Eldorado county

At Lewis Grace you will experience the best wine, a beautiful tasting room, and the friendliest service. After tasting the LG Graciano and other reds at a friend's house, I knew I had to locate this place. I was thrilled to find that their whites are also impeccably delicious.
This is definitely a spot to head for on your next trek to Apple Hill. Enjoy and Cheers! 🍷

A niche El Dorado County winery located East of Placerville close to Hwy 50 in between Sacremento and Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Mountain foothills. The winery/tasting room is east to get to and located in a neat area. (Apple Hill). My take away is that this is a prospering family wine-making business where two sons have followed in their dad’s footsteps to master winemaking. They have some interesting varietals. I have visited Lewis Grace more than a dozen times over the past decade. Each time is better than the last. I was just there on 9/4/22 and note that Lewis Grace Winery received several double gold awards from The San Francisco Chronicle as well as accolades from other reputable sources. Many other awards can be seen over the years- a true testament to quality winemaking! Do taste or buy a bottle of the 2021 Chenin Blanc, 2021 Viognier and/or the 2019 TG Cab Sav. Simply amazing ….

Terrific dessert wines - love the Fashionable Late and the lighter Muscat of Alexandria! Best Red blend - Aboriginal Red and the classic 5PM, also love the Zinfandel and Petite Sirah . Beautiful view of the Sierras from the patio! Fun staff!

Amazing winery. We have been wine club members for years and truly enjoy each bottle we receive. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. One of our favorite wineries

Great wines, among the best in El Dorado county. Friendly, courteous staff. Flight of wines to taste come in individual carafes and a snack tray with cheeses, crackers, grapes, etc. Nice touch!👍
