I can not thank my team at the hospital enough about the care they have given me. I have been to ED twice in one week and both times I have felt so cared for by everyone (except the night crew but this review is not about them). I had PA Micheal, Nurse Kristen, Nurse Joe, Nurse Tyler, and Dr. Manjot. Such a wonderful team who took such great care of me when I was extremely unwell and in pain. I truly can not thank you enough for the work that you do.

Marshall Hospital Shout outs & sharing my appreciation ❤❤❤

My entire experience started last weekend. I entered the ER for a medical emergency 🚨 from the moment I walked in the front door, to the min I was wheeled up to ICU to wheeled out the front doors Thursday was beyond fantastic!❤🤗

I was met by some amazing medical staff, intake personnel , Doctors, Surgeons, Specialists, RN’s, RN Intern, Aides, Lab technicians, CT, Ultrasound, Xray, phlebotomists, kitchen staff and housekeeping ..literally all I had come in contact with.. 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤made an impression… even the loudest voices in the waiting room were heard … lol Thankfully not too long..

To me; It’s obvious each of you love what you do and are very good at it, taking pride, care, concentration, conducting yourselfs in high regard and respect for others.. 🙏❤🤗⭐thank you for dedication to your profession.

I really appreciate each and everyone of you who provided me with kindness and care from a simple good morning, how ya feeling, to cleaning up my mess, pocking me with needles, taking my temp, reading my results, wheeling me to different areas safely and not too fast for testing, giving me medication through IV and oral all hours of the night, insuring the lights were off and noise level was not to high, bringing food, water and ensuring the bed and table levels were acceptable and my room being clean and safe.. and so much more..

Last but not least …of course applauding 🙏the rock stars ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐🤗🤗🤗🤗

❤Doctors, Nurses, Aides for your unwavering dedication to patient care (my care) your genuine concern and support means a lot to me. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure my wellbeing.. ❤🤗and respecting my decisions whether or not you agreed..

Shout out by name to those I can recall.. Thank you isn’t enough 🤗❤I appreciate you 🙏🙏🙏

And let me end with saying.. the care provided was not based on my “medical insurance “ if that was the case … they way outperformed themselves for the lowest cost rate of return..

Thank you 🙏 ❤❤❤

I would like to thank all the staff at North 1and North 2. The surgical staff, Dr Woolsley and everyone involved with my recovery. I was in for a emergency abdominal surgery. It was a very frightening time. I was very scared and in pain. All the nurses, and I mean all the nurses and supporting staff were so kind and empathetic and supportive. They are truly special people to be able to withstand such anguish, pain and suffering. They are truly chosen to heal. I wish I could name everyone I came into contact with. But I was so disoriented, and in a high state of uncomfortability due to my surgery. But nevertheless Marshall Hospital North 1 and North 2, and everyone else, thank you so very much. God bless your hearts and souls and families 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹💪💪💪💪

My partner recently had surgery. From the time we checked in until we left the next day, we had a wonderful experience.
The volunteers at check in were kind and helpful. The nurses in preop (thank you, Tanya) were gracious and thoughtful.
The surgical nurse, Beth, was funny and kind, which helped put me at ease as he went back to surgery.
Afterward, the nurses who supervised his recovery were gentle and helpful.
Overnight, the RN Carrie and the aide, Claudia were attentive, thoughtful and patient.
Our day nurse, Bryan was funny and very helpful (be sure to check out his shoes!)
Overall, this was the best hospital experience I’ve had. It was clear that the staff (and doctors: hats off to Dr. Molitar, who came out following surgery to ease my concerns and let me know how the surgery went. He had been in surgery all day, although it was late, he took time to come out to update me personally,) anyway, it is abundantly Care that Marshall Hospital cares.
From what I understand, they’ve come a long way.

In the last year, two orthopedic surgeries on my left foot. I am grateful to be back working since July. Marshall hospital and staff were the absolute best. Professionalism, expertise, care and compassion unmatched. Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Dickson was incredible, I was 100% trusting and comfortable in his care. My gratefulness to each and every one that participated in my care. Thank you so much.

Marshall hospital is a great hospital and in all my required visits, I am always treated with urgency and with care. This hospital sets the bar as a model for how other hospitals should take notes on how to not only take care of the basics, but how to be innovative and giving the best care possible to each patient. I read the other reviews that gave bad scores because they had to wait. It wouldn't matter that they had to wait. All hospitals get busy and that's not their fault, but Marshall, even when there is a wait, takes especially good care of every patient. Sometimes I have to wait, but just understanding how Emergency Rooms work and have to establish highest priorities to the most needed, should be expected and understood by every person who comes in, I do. I know they will take good care of me as soon as they can, and every person I come face to face with in registration, triage, and intake care people, always have a smile and treat me with great care and urgency for my required care. Every specialist, x-ray techs, lab personnel, nurses and doctors do an amazing job helping take care of my needs and treatment. They always make sure I'm comfortable and free of stress. My most recent visit on 1/6/23 was a perfect example. Even my wife, who had never been inside before, could tell and made comment on how kind and caring every person who worked on my case was. It was easy to see and feel the difference. Thank you Marshall Hospital.

I recently had a broken ankle treated at the hospital. I remained in the surgery and ER areas. The entire crew was really kind and courteous to me. from the medical professionals—Dr. Cyphers did a fantastic job with my surgery—to the nurses, aides, and housekeepers. They all provided me with information and listened to my worries. Despite my fears regarding my ankle, everyone made me feel secure and at ease. I want to thank the entire crew for their assistance in my recovery.

I am in Marshall recovering from a hip replacement. The staff & doctors here are first class. I’ve been at many hospitals and Marshall is bar none the best! The nursing staff is amazing. You need something, they immediately respond. I have never experienced that type of nursing before. They are knowledgeable & charming.

I moved to the area 7 years ago from North San Diego County. There were myriad hospitals and clinics; one hospital down there save my life. My experiences with Marshall have been such that I would trust them with my life at any time too. They have performed three surgeries for me during the Covid period -- the outcomes have been outstanding. The staff, facilities, administrators and the grounds are always 1st class. This area is lucky to have such a high standard of care available because we are considered rural and rural hospitals are generally a nightmare; thus the rash of closures. Marshall is almost as good as the care I received while I was active duty Air Force. -- they just need more specialty clinics in-house.

Dr Vance replaced my knee in January this year and the Marshall team provided excellent care both before surgery and after. They came to my home to provide nursing and physical therapy. They were all excellent professionals.

Earlier this summer, our daughter had an accident while we were camping approximately an hour north of Placerville. Marshall was the closest ER facility, so that's where we ended up. She was brought back quickly and the staff kept us apprised and were supportive every step of the way. We were treated like family the entire time we were there (4 days - not the camping trip we'd planned). The nurses (Catherine, Teri, and Terri specifically) were impeccable and the entire staff was kind and attentive. Every procedure was fully explained and all questions answered completely. Dr. Detweiler was professional and we appreciated his precision and experience.

Also, while the food isn't typically one of the highlights of a hospital stay, we were duly impressed with the meals here!

Overall, we cannot thank Marshall enough for the amazing care provided not only our daughter, but to the rest of our family as well. We wouldn't hesitate to choose Marshall again if needed and highly recommend this hospital. Thank you, Marshall! :)

I went in to the emergency room with expectations of being there for a few hours. Thanks to the nice triage lady (Stephanie) I was put in a freshly clean room to be seen. My nurse however went out of her way to make sure I was seen as quickly as possible and on my way! So a BIG thank you to Natalie and Doctor Michael for getting me in and out! Its people like you guys that are making Placerville better!!

My mother had sudden vision loss so I brought her to the ER worried that she might have had a stroke. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. One nurse in particular named Hollie (I'm not sure on spelling) had absolutely incredible bedside manner and made my mom and myself comfortable instantly. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my mom.

Although staff at the front desk seemed a little understaffed, everyone was kind and courteous. Dr. Massey was thorough and helpful and listened to my concerns as always. His nurse was very pleasant and efficient.

Update- I’ve been back here for multiple testing by many different doctors and nurses. They have all been extremely smart and polite. I drive over 3 hours drive each way to come to Marshall Medical Center because it’s so professional and clean! Coming from the Bay Area this hospital has been a blessing. Thanks

Clean and professional staff the few times I have been there.

Just moved here 2 weeks ago from the Bay Area and ended up at Marshall Hospital on Tuesday. What a wonderful surprise. Staff from check in, nurses, to doctor's were caring and concerned. Had a bit of wait in ER waiting lobby but that is to be expected. Once in ER staff was busy taking care of me. El Dorado County should be proud.

HIt and Miss on the Care provided. The care here has improved beyond words. They have the latest in germ control and prevention procedures. The care I have received at Marshall medical center has been Top Notch. I have been diagnosed and had several surgeries here. Everytime I was there (once passed the emergency room) I was treated with the best care ever. They were focused and friendly with a detail to proper quality care. I felt like I wasn't just a number. My sergion used the latest in medical technology (a robotically assisted lathroscopic procedure and all is going fantastic as far as recovery goes.
