I had been with Robinsons for years and got irritated at somethin and decided to leave. I tried ALL of the other pharmacy at that time and came back to ROBINSONS because they are the absolute best and most caring pharmacy anywhere in El Dorado Co. Do what I did and you will agree. Kelly at the pharmacy was incredible. She was so kind to my girls, rushed to the door to hold it open for me and the stroller, and when my daughter lost her purse and she spotted us later on the street, she checked in to see if we found it. This kind of personal interactions make small stores so much more special!!

OK, I do have to add that Robinson's has supplied to me the most awesome Sundry Gifts, needs wants & products that one simple cannot find elsewhere, & I adore to peruse the special, ever changing items on the "Sale" area! Psst! Quiet, oh my, I've said too much & now my Special Finds & Personal Objects of Enjoyment may have already been purchased. Ho-Hum, as they said in my era: "Whatever will be, will be!"

Robinson’s Pharmacy is the last “Ma & Pop”/ “owner operated” drugstore in Placerville and in El Dorado County for that matter! The reason Robinson’s remains in business is no mystery; its excellence in service with warm “Hometown” familiarity with their customers; just good old fashioned; most caring personal service. Oh! And Robinson’s Pharmacy is impressively fast when waiting for a hand carried written prescription! I have NEVER waited more than 20 minutes for them to fill my prescription/s; (I have many Rx’s and have had for decades now…) If they are low on a fill amount, they will provide what they have; a partial fill, and fulfill the remaining units in most cases within 48 hours. If they are out, they have it delivered the next morning and filled for customer pickup by noon.

Walgreens, Walmart, Safeway, Rite Aid, CVS, give it a name, are all very “cold” “impersonal”; often times with this feel, a real concern that I am actually inconveniencing them by asking if they would fill my prescription!?! This awkward, rude, completely unprofessional reception is a clear sign of the frustration, disappointment and futility that lays ahead if we “choose to accept this mission” rather than just cutting the losses right then and there; returning to our vehicle, breathing in the good blowing out the bad knowing that the parking place will be there at Robinsons; even though we often fear there won’t be! I 99% of the time can park in the ally right next to the back door!

Awesome service. With the virus they set up parking spaces. Pull in call the number tell them what you need and they run out with your stuff. If you need to pay they run back with your payment and receipt. They do this all day. We have always appreciated there great service and now they have gone beyond normal. Thank you to all the staff for working so hard during this crisis. This place is the best. Jerry & Cassandra.

Big City Professional and small town friendly; doesn't get better than that! I have been using Robinsons since 1982 with only one hick-up in all those years- and it was not a staff problem! They are no more expensive than the big Drugstore chains or grocers. And! They always have treats for Wylie-Bear- my dog!!

My child wanted me to write a review about this pharmacy, since we were so happy to finally find a pharmacy anywhere in the whole area that carried tolerable flavors of antibiotics.  For any parents with kids allergic to amoxicillin, the pediatricians usually prescribe Zithromax... but most pharmacies only carry an absolutely repulsive flavor of cherry-banana (which makes the kids gag and vomit).  Thankfully, after calling all around, somebody suggested we reach out to Roinsons Pharmacy.  Sure enough, they had a tolerable flavor that's more of a mild cherry.  The Pharmacist was very professional and knowledgeable, and also very understanding and helpful.  So glad we found this pharmacy!!

Amazing service, no hassels, they actually answer the phone when you call, fastest I've ever had prescriptions filled. I could go on and on. I can't believe it took me so long to switch over all my families' prescriptions over from the grocery store.

The pharmacists here are top notch and everyone is helpful. The store is really fun with a super collection of greeting cards, snacks and gifts. If there is no parking right in front, there are public two parking lots close by.

The only pharmacy in town with infant meds. Shame on other pharmacies!!! I love our home town pharmacy!!
