High Sierra Iris & Wedding Gardens

So beautiful!! I have never seen so many different colors of Iris. And the owner is nice and wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. She makes her own hybrids! A must see! If you love Irish plants you can buy there too.

My husband and I had our wedding at this venue and it was beyond beautiful! We really loved working with Nancy, she was such an integral part of our wedding. She was so generous with her helping hand, especially the week leading up to the wedding. She helped make the day so easy and the venue is absolutely magical and dreamy. Our guests were so blown away by the beauty of the venue!

The garden is absolutely beautiful. They sell the iris of you want to buy them during the season. There is so much color in the garden. It is a must see if you love flower gardens.

Performing as DJ Rockalot I was blessed to be a part of a wedding at this beautiful venue. The owner and her staff were flexible, great to work with and present when needed. I canymt wait to go back!

The most beautiful and perfect wedding venue!! It is so secluded you feel like you are in your own world. Nancy was always happy to help and offer suggestions to make your day go smooth. We loved it so much and got so many compliments from our guest!

Just received my bulbs in the mail. They are huge and beautiful. Highly recommend High Sierra Iris for your iris bulbs. It is in Northern Calif. I went there this spring when I visited my sister. Nancy is amazing and really knows everything you need to know about irises. I always planted here in Virginia the bulbs in fall. She had me plant as soon as I received them, August 6th. I ordered ones that have fragrance. Who knew. Nigerian Raspberry, Secret Merlot, Toasted Watermelon and Seakist.

I cannot Thank the Iris Garden Enough. Nancy is simply amazing. She really takes the time to understand the needs of the bride and wants for the wedding and makes it happen. She is the sweetest and caring person you can come across. The grounds itself is breath taking. They do an amazing job on the upkeep of the place, and it is always just perfect. I could not be happier with my venue and so happy with the people that we got to work with.

A huge shout out to all the guys working the Christmas Tree area this year. They were all incredibly friendly and accommodating: offering to drive my mother with reduced mobility down the slope to get her tree, cutting, baling and setting it in her car. It was a wonderful drive out to the lot, the grounds were lovely, and the trees are beautiful! Merry Christmas!

This is my absolute favorite place to visit in the Apple hill area. The views and background make for some amazing site seeing. Sitting out by the pond watching the fish swim and t the butterflies dance makes for a wonderful weekend experience. I look forward to coming back again very soon.

A very beautiful location and a very welcoming host! Nancy worked with us to meet our needs for our wedding and was a very gracious host. Her site was gorgeous, and had a beautiful staircase, archway, patio/grilling area, and lake. Nancy worked with us to fill out flowers for the wedding, and the site looked amazing on the Big Day! All in all, an amazing location and a wonderful host

I've been to 2 weddings here and it is a very nice place with very well kept grounds and a really nice pond. The only thing negative I could say is the parking is limited so if you have a lot of guests that might be a problem. Otherwise a really beutiful place for a wedding.

It rained the day we went there for a wedding. It was quite cold as well. Not a place I'd use for a wedding. They don't furnish tents for weddings, but I can bet the place is beautiful during the spring, summer and fall.

Beautiful place for a day trip or a grand family celebration. The Iris gardens in Bloom are a highlight, but only part of beautiful things to see at this location.

My youngest is getting married here. It's an open garden type setting with beauty everywhere you look. These people are warm and inviting to all.

Went for a Christmas tree. All the workers there were super nice. Not as big of a selection as other places but still a great experience 👍🏻
