This place is amazing! There’s a lot of enriched history in this little gem. The owner, Crystal, her Grandmother created spectacular garments for many famous people and movies too, like, Micheal Jackson, Cher, Lionel Richie, and a few of the former Presidents First Ladies, & those sparkly ruby red slippers that Dorthey wore in the Wizard of Oz & many more. Now Crystal is continuing her families legacy. Myla and I are happy that we found this place! I love it❤

Brilliant stones to choose from and beautiful custom work! I purchased stones from one of the online auctions and worked with the studio to create a absolutely gorgeous bracelet! The quality of both the stones and detailed artistry is excellent!

These people are blessed - and true artists!! There are beautiful hand made beaded purses and other special treats. Family owned, impressed with displays and inventory. Very warm people great conversation and will be back again for sure. If you bead or not you should go see what they have to offer you will enjoy this place.

I would not have thought that so much could go into craft beads, but as soon as I walked into their store right on Main St, Placerville, I was taken back by the beauty of their wares. The owners come from a line of successful beaders and it shows!

Their products are handmade with care, yet even more fun is that they offer classes to make your own craft bead jewelry. I'd love to return to make a date out of creating my own craft beads.

For now, I will be proudly showing off their beautiful handmade Hummingbird for years to come.

This store is a whole experience. There's so much she has that you won't even know you needed🤣 She has the craziest selection of beads, crystals, charms, jewelry and tons of other magical things. The owner is super sweet and knows her stuff, and I love that she's not a hoverer! I am addicted to this place. I travel from Sacramento to shop here🫶 I guarantee that you'll find something you love here!

THE best bead and crystal store around! Always such beautiful things to see and the most gorgeous cabochons. The owner, Krystel, is so knowledgeable about all beads, crystals and stones. She actually has a degree in Geology and is a walking encyclopedia for uses, composition and properties of stones. As well, she teaches wire wrapping classes ... I've gotten more compliments on the piece I made with her assistance than any other jewelry I own. You don't want to miss this place on your next trip to Main Street!

Had an antique deco style lamp with double fabric shade and fringe antique beads that I needed to remove stains from fabric so I could return it to daughter of original owner. I accidentally dropped the shade - one strand of beads fell off - found Artistic Beads and Studio on Main St Placerville online - went up, and owner Naomi offered immediate help with the repair - didn't expect to get a repair for my friend so quickly- and found a lovely labradorite bracelet to join by "never take off" right wrist bracelets - Thank you so much - And got to enjoy see by picture and real clothinng items her mother's Hollywood beaded artistry! Blessings!!!

Fantastic bead shop with a great selection of stringed, individual beads, tools and more. Good beads shops are becoming more and more scarce these days, & although it's easy to buy things online, nothing beats the charm of seeing it for yourself under one roof. Purchased some nice bead storage containers and some thick colored chord for knotting. Great place!

I absolutely LOVE this shop and am thoroughly enjoying the evolution of their online presence! I tune in every Sunday to the live sale on Instagram. It is so fun and Krystel is incredibly knowledgeable about the stones she is selling. I can hear in her voice and feel how much she cares about her shop and her customers. It truly amazes me that she can keep up with each order and gets me an invoice the next day and shipped out immediately! I love my beautiful stones and tend to let Krystel "pick me the best one" if there are multiples. I can appreciate the passion she has shared with us in resurrecting her grandmother's bead shop and transforming it into something so magical Thank you Krystel and Norma for doing what you do and keeping me entertained and stocked with positive energy!
