A & D nails

My mom and I visited A & D Nails for the first time last weekend, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Let me start by saying we used to visit them at their previous location and only recently discovered their new one. I prefer my nails short and natural, and they are very accommodating and kind about it, even though I know it isn’t the easiest to paint short nails.

The salon is clean, everyone is very kind, and they offer a wide range of nail services with a great variety of colors to choose from. Special shoutout to Mikey, Jo, and Penny – they are wonderful! We are so happy to have found their new location and wish them much success.

AD Nails is excellent! I moved to Placerville last year and had been looking for a good salon. Tried a few - one in particular a few times (Angels Nails in Placerville) and I was very disappointed- I always had to wait at least 10-15 past my appointment time, sometimes longer; the place itself was a larger salon than I’ve been to in Sacramento yet it was still overcrowded and chaotic. The man who seemed to be in charge, was practically yelling at the gals who did nails, and often they played “musical chairs” with either having me move from one person (and nail table) to another or 2-3 gals would change places and work on my nails in one visit. The atmosphere felt very stressful and uncomfortable. Prices were inconsistent and seemed to change from one visit to the next for the exact same nail job. I finally had enough.

Then one day not long ago, my husband saw AD Nails (it’s not far from our home, near downtown Placerville) and so tried it for the first time recently. I was so very pleased with their excellent customer service; the excellent job they did; the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The owner and his wife (Mike and Jo I believe are their names), and the staff were so easy going, friendly and welcoming; I felt comfortable right away and throughout the whole session. And the prices are very reasonable. They did my nails perfect the first time, and in a reasonable amount of time and I didn’t have to wait to get served. I also did not have to re-explain what I wanted done over and over again; they got it right immediately.
I am so glad my husband spotted them and I went to them. Now I am a regular customer and I highly recommend them!! They totally are a “5-Star Rated” business! 👍👍👍👍👍

They had great customer service. They opened the shop an hour early to get 3 people in. And they did a great job on acrylics and pedis.

This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! It is under new ownership and Jo, Mikey and Andy are incredible! The best pedicure EVER, nails that hold up, don't lift, polish stays on and looks incredible all the way through until your next appointment. This place is such a gem!!! Highly recommend this nail salon for anyone looking for a top notch place!

Mikey and Jo own the shop! Andy is there too. All of hands down the best nail techs around. Nice new pedicure chairs. Go check them out you won't be disappointed.

Linda is great. She always pays the closest money detail to my powder dip nails. They typically will last me until they grow out and look so natural even a week later

Oh my!! New owners Mikey and Joe husband and wife team. I followed them because they are amazing. Remodeling old A and D shop making all clean and new. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

I have been coming here for eyebrow waxing and nails for 20+ years. They are amazing and I have never had one complaint. I highly recommend AD Nails for anything you need. Excellent work and super friendly.

My friend and I went to get pedicures. We splurged and got the ezpensive one with the wax and hot stone massage. The massages were nice and our nails look great! My feet are soo soft!! The service was also nice.

Everyone was really nice. The lady who did my nails did a great job.. best place in Placerville. Definitely recommend this place!
