EAA monthly pancake breakfast, 1st Saturday of the month. Great food and great people. Airplanes and vintage cars too...

The airport is a great place to fly into and fill up on gas. The attendants are very nice and fill you up at the self serve pumps whenever they are free. The traffic is generally light unless there is a fire in the area when they set up a temporary tower and turn it into a fire base!

Me and my granddaughter had an awesome day at the airport! We took a long walk down by the runway and yesterday saw a plane taking off.

Just on the out skirts of Placerville and situated on small mountain top. Gotta gauge your approach right when landing. Weather was perfect today.
