Placerville Speedway

We've been to the Placerville Speedway many times for races and other track events. I was particularly impressed by the Malicious Monster Trucks event that we attended last night. I didn't see the option to buy tickets in the handicapped section and was afraid they'd sell out, so I bought the ones that I could, but was worried I might not be able to climb up the bleachers to my seat, as I do have some mobility restrictions. I contacted the Placerville Speedway and they were so sweet and accommodating! The kind lady that I spoke with exchanged the tickets that I bought for more accessible seating and then gave me helpful instructions on where I could park my scooter for easy access. I was able to enjoy the event comfortably and without any issues. The show was fantastic, security was in force and keeping a good handle on everything and even the food stands were operating quickly and efficiently. Overall, it was truly a great experience and I will definitely be back again soon!

Great track! Never a dull moment. Family-friendly atmosphere, decent food, beer, dirt, cars, trucks... a great way to spend a summer evening, in my opinion.

My home Town Track. The best track to go watch some bada-- Dirt track racing. The drivers take time to see the fans for Autographs, pictures. Great Promoters, Happy hour with live bands. Great fun for the whole family.
And very yummy food. I'd recommend the Polish dogs

If your looking for thrills & spills Placerville Speedway is the place. Clean bathrooms good food. Beer line moves fast.

If you love loud ground shaking race cars, sprint cars. Then this is the spot. Bring your kids along they won't leave there seats. Also There's a nice area where your kids can skate board. a cool skate park. . Heck I was almost persuaded to go and brake my something there. Lol Also they have a good snack bar. This is the car I'm sponcering this year. This young lady, YES THATS RIGHT, A GIRL!!! Race car driver. Her name is Kiely Ricardo she drives late model as you see in the pics. Love this place . Very family oriented a good place to spend a Saturday night . After the races they open the pits to everyone. The drivers are all but to happy to sign an autograph card and let the kids sit in the cars and answer any questions they might have. For a dirt track the facilities are very clean .

Had a blast at the races on Saturday! Great track, great food, and great friends! It's always fun to see the races and share in the fun with all the awesome fans in the grandstands!

Placerville Speedway or as the locals call it "Knoxville on the hill" the best racing facility in California. If you have never been go, the foods great the beer is cold. The smell of methanol and race gas is next to nothing. The clay that hits you and the tears that roll down your face from the methanol make this the best track. The drivers are some of the most competitive group of guys and gals. No follow the leader here door bangin fun. You're welcome by the way.

Best midget race I ever saw was at placerville speedway hangtown 100 well worth the trip out for any show they run a great program!

Awesome time. My husband and I have been going here since were kids. Hometown feel, also lots of fun for kids. Food and drinks are served at the event we went to.

One of my favorite tracks, having raced there many times. Always action packed, and the track preparation is always top notch!

Nice well managed race track.
Everyone knows thier job. Venue is excellent, especially from the pits.

This is a great cheap fun family night out. The food is good the beer is ice cold and cheap till the races actually start. Fun for all ages. Don't forget to Take Eyewear and Hearing protection and a stadium seat or a blanket to sit on. 😉..

Monster truck rides, food, beer, entertainment, and great atmosphere!

Clean bathrooms. Some waiting in line for bathroom. Not bad food. There grand stand area is facing east so sun is not right on you! It is in mountainous area so theres a few slight uphill walking areas. When I was there they had $10 parking inside the gated area Thats closest to the speedway.

It’s always a good night for racing in Placerville! Enjoy the night, food, and excitement.
