Benham Park & Aquatic Center

I absolutely love that they help every student. They give you a progress report to let you know how your child is doing. The teachers are very active with each student and as a class. My child loves going to swim class and looks forward to it.

Came during winter when closed but very nice clean place. The park next door is open year round. Offers big and little kid playgrounds, basketball court, tables spaced apart and BBQs.

Great place for younger kids. The staff here is good and they work hard to make sure everyone is safe. A tad strict in that they don't let you splash, but I'm just assuming that means it has gotten out of hand before. The water slide is a great way for kids to overcome that as a fear. Pool is heated. No jacuzzi, but it's Placerville and the summers would be way too hot for the jacuzzi

Had a blast with the family at a private event. The middle pool (with the water slide) is the perfect height for my 4yr old and 6yr old to touch the bottom almost all the way to the deepest parts, so they felt very comfortable swimming.

I love the teachers for the swimming lessons for the children. they are very good and make the learning experience fun and exciting for the kids. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have their kids learn to swim. The public swim is great as well.

Enclosed with shower curtain private showers, wall dryers, restrooms, disabled friendly, big shared dressing area all located in the womens bathroom. Sorry guys I can't say what perks are there for you. Great staff and a swim suit spinner located between men's and women's. Safety approved life jackets available to borrow for the little ones, probably first come. NO ADULTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE WADING POOL AREA WITHOUT CHILDREN. The WADING POOL is fun fun fun! Twisty slide, water wheel, landing, water dumping ropes, mini makeshift water fall, various sprays. One pop up shade AREA. Concrete seating ledge half the circumference, the rest is throw your towel down. Beach entry to above the knee depth. Morning and afternoon sessions (pay twice without a pass). Parents are NOT free with kids, everyone pays. Bring your own food. There is also a All age POOL. One area has a fun size water slide. Outside shower off AREA. Tables and chairs. Steps into, and out of pool. Lots.of life guards. Swimming and Lifeguard classes available here.

I will miss it. Good location decent people and the pool is great. My kids loved it. I just find it ridiculous that if you pay in the afternoon, during the activities switch, they kick you out and re-charge admission AGAIN for the evening. Outrage. Total outrage.

Great place for kids to have fun in the water. Great for picnicking you can bring your own food inside. Very friendly staff and lifeguards. Will definitely be back!

Nice place to casually swim for a couple hours with or without kids. There was a water slide that was nice also. Life guards on duty. Don't run!

Friendly, fun and great staff. Both our children take swimming lessons there and have made GREAT progress, quickly. We can't wait for next season.

Just the park portion is open at the time. We had a great time at the park, it has two different play structures and swings! Yes this park has swings!!

Safe fun way to spend a summer afternoon. Plenty of life guards who are good with the kids. They have a toddler area which is very nice for the littles

It is a nice place to take your children a little cold in the winter when the Sun goes down

Great playground with lots of climbing and sliding opportunities...also nice grassy area to run and play...my 3y.o. granddaughter loves it❣

We took our granddaughters and had a marvelous time! I love the number of lifeguards and how they interact with the kids! Great place to spend time at!!!

Love our town' s swimming pool. My only beef is it should remain open throughout the year. It is only open in the months children break from school in Summer.

Spent several summers in morning lap swim. Nice pool, warm enough water, friendly and helpful staff. Very nice dressing room and shower too.
