I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly face and quickly sat down. In absolutely no time at all we received our drinks and ordered our entrees. The restaurant is extremely clean with modern decor. I had a salmon bento box and was blown away with how well it was cooked and the overall flavor. The sautéed veggies are amazing, as is the asian dressing on the garden salad. The food is reasonably priced for the amount you get. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back! For my fellow truckers, you can park at the Pilot truck stop and walk about a block.

Had a pleasant experience! Great food and great service. Cannot recommend this place enough! I had the dragon roll with a mafa bowl, and my friend had a godzilla roll.

We loved the food and I liked being able to get a cocktail with my dinner. And it was a really good cocktail with a top notch selection of gin 😊. The service was good too, our server was so nice. We will definitely eat here again. There are some great vegetarian options for non-meat eaters too.

The food was delicious!! They brought us appetizer drinks then our fried shrimp plate. 2 other families besides us 2 staff was hustling to try and serve dine in. They seemed understaffed, it took us an hour to get our sushi. I think they are hiring!! we took our sushi to go when it did come, but we will definitely return!! Tasty food very friendly waitress!! So if you like sushi, they are reasonably priced and worth wait! I like it!!

This is the best service we have had in a long time! Food was great! Had 3 different rolls and all were fantastic! Beer is ice cold! We will definitely return! Prices are very reasonable! No complaints whatsoever!!

Our favorite Sushi place in the valley. They need to update their Google listing with appropriate times but outside of that. Great prices, great staff, and great food!

The interesting thing about a restaurant like this is the clientele’s frequent nose up attitudes. You read the reviews and the expectations set are so high you’d think the diners expect a Michelin experience. The food is unique & delicious plus the prices are great. Yes, the service is spread a little thin but still adequate. If you’d like the price to match the quality of food and have one server per 2 tables…fork over double the money per plate, otherwise I’d say this restaurant is great and we always look forward to eating at Kanpai again when we are in Ontario. In fact this review is here because I was confirming the hours so we can meet friends there tonight. Try it, you’ll enjoy the meal and hopefully the company of your dinner companions.

Went here on valentines day with my husband and this place was amazing. The staff were nice and the service was quick. Not to mention the food was so satisfying. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

The veggie tempura is delicious and so is the Rangoon roll!

They're open for business! We sat in the bar and ordered our sushi. Had a cold beer and enjoyed the atmosphere. Sushi came and it was great! Great portions, great service. We had a wonderful experience.

Good atmosphere, good food, good service!! I'm a fan of fried sushi and I was at first bummed that there's only 1 roll fried but WOW!! totally worth it! I will keep going and ordering that sushi roll
