Nice rustic aesthetics. Oddly trinket oriented for a cheese store. I recommend the 10 year aged cheddar as the sharpness and crumbly consistency has my mouth watering even before I taste it.
All in all, 4.5 out of 5.
Lose the trinkets, focus more on making the cheese more affordable.

Love this store! The White Gold cheddar is very good! They also have jellies, sauces, etc. They also do gift baskets and have other nice gifts.

This gift , cheese , novelty store is the bomb !!! The selection of cheeses is outstanding. And .. FRESH CHEESE CURD !

The woman working has helped me twice now and this past time I told her what my plans were and she walked me to where the best items were for my night. Great and friendly service.

Excellent selection of giftable items and delicious treats. Very Good service. Great place for gift baskets, jams, snacks, crafty things, etc. They deserve 5 stars for all that stuff but cheese is my thing. For Barneveld, an excellent selection of popular NY aged cheddars, cheese curds, and cheese spreads. They get 5 stars for that. However, as a cheese lover who tends toward the more adventurous, I'm always left wishing they offered a greater diversity of cheese styles and I would love to see better representation of some of the world class creameries in the region (eg., Three Villages, Jones Family Farm, Cochran Farm, etc). For that, they do not get 5 stars. I know, it's unreasonable to expect to have a true cheesemonger in Barneveld, but I can dream. I get that it might be difficult to practice solid affinage of short-lived soft cheeses here. But, it is called Adirondack Cheese Company and area cheesemakers are making many world class cheeses that are not cheddars or cheese curd and there are many local cheeses that would stand well under refrigeration and offer good shelf stability. Having said that, they are a real asset to the community and my review is based on how well they are executing their apparent vision, not my wishes for a more varied and interesting cheese selection.

This is a quaint little shop in the middle of town with lots of small gifts and a fantastic selection of local cheeses and products that are perfect for snacks and parties. Very friendly service also!

This is a cheese shop that has some interesting gourmet cheeses as well as a gift shop.

Excellent products and customer service was very good. Other people just stopped in the shop to use the restroom, but were treated just as a customer, with respect. Kudos

I regularly stop and have WONDERFUL gift baskets made for clients...friends...or to just shop the delicious edibles. A treasure in our community!

But it was well worth the price.
