I called regarding a foot stone that was driven over by a tractor and is sunken in to the ground and lopsided. They did not care at all. Literally basically said “that happens when they’re burying new plots”. No apologies or anything. Couldn’t wait to get off the phone with me. If your loved ones are buried here, don’t expect them or their graves to be respected because they care more about throwing the newest deceased person they have into the ground as soon and as careless as possible.

PLEASE READ BEFORE ChOOSING THIS FUNERAL HOME! If there were zero stars on this review that is what I would rate. Jamie’s approach when we first walked in was kind and somewhat accommodating, of course it was at that point we had not fully committed with a contract or any form of payment. An hour later a grief stricken husband and daughter signed a contact and paid in full. A copy of the contract was not provided when leaving Which was fine as the family wanted to just get out of there. A week later the daughter of the lost one had to ask once again for the contact after a week of stressful mishaps presented by this funeral home. So where do we begin, first there is the obituary that was sent over for our review. It was so poorly written that we spent hours wordsmithing. With the obituary comes a link to the memory page. The link didn’t work for the first 24 hours the once it did work the funeral homes recommended florist couldn’t fulfill orders and turned away guest wanting to send flowers. The guest that could send flowers the wrong address was given so flowers were going to San Diego ca not NY. Jaimie nor the florist wanted to accept blame and my friend had to call local florist the day before services to figure things out! Such a difficult thing when there are some many last minute details to wrap up. The night before services Jamie stopped by the house to bring their love one, along with a poorly put together Memorial book, cheap prayer cards that were never requested and a prayer that was picked by flint funeral home not the family. Once he was here he realized he forgot the picture video that we needed that evening to view before services. He said he would be back with it. Four hour later I reached out to Jaime to see when he would be here he informed me when he was done with dinner. He arrived at 830 pm. Unacceptable as the family is exhausted and hadn’t eaten and yet we are working around jaimies dinner schedule when he failed to remember the video in the first place. When viewing the video flint funeral home took it upon themselves to insert bible passages that were never approved by family along with promotional slides for flint funeral home. The list is far to long for this review. So I will leave it at this, if you are looking for a professional service this is not the one. If you you are looking for kind soft spoken crazy chaos added stress then visit flint funeral. I wish that during such a difficult time in itself my friend and her father never had to endure that added stress brought on by flint funeral home. I wish we had not paid in full as services were not delivered as promised.

Jamie will deliver a loved ones ashes in a motorhome across state lines which is inappropriate, but saves him money on a hotel. This company/director/owner is completely classless. I am very sorry for anyone who has done any business with this family. The funeral director doesn't contact any family members or even the next of kin. They allow a girlfriend to make all decisions regardless of the wishes of the deceased. They have forms signed prior to the deceased passing granting authorization to a non blood related family member (a girlfriend) who made up her own plans rather than carrying out what a man requested when he was in good health and state of mind. Who would want have their remains delivered in a motorhome? Not me or anyone I know but it puts more money in their pockets. Very sad!
