My wife and I had an incredible time riding dune buggies at Sun Buggy in Silver Lake Dunes! The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived, thanks to the amazing help from Alex and Andrew. They were incredibly friendly and provided clear directions, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident throughout the experience. It's rare to find such genuinely nice people who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. We can't wait to go back for another adventure!

Had a great mother's day weekend at Silver Lake Sand Dunes with our SunBuggy ATV & UTV rentals. Coming all the way from Florida, we were so pressed for time, but Mr. Dave was so accomodating and made sure we had a great time which we definitely did. Thank you.

Went here for a bachelorette activity. Had a blast at Sunbuggy!!!! Sunbuggy sends a driver to pick and drop to your hotel. The staff were so friendly. Our driver was Mike, he was amazing. Played some good tunes. Our tour guide was amazing, his name was Jimmy. Had fun and went through the course safely. Took lots of group pics of us.

SunBuggy has some great equipment. We had a blast for our 1 year anniversary. Max the gentleman out at the entrance of the dunes did a great job. He is the best!! Also, this company not only preaches safety, but every employee also practiced the words they spoke. Even if they were only moving the toys 5 feet, they put on their helmets. This place is great fun!

I can't say enough about this place. Definitely make reservations ahead of time. I had to add to my reservation days later and it was an easy process with no complications.
The staff at this place knows what they're doing. They know their machines, they know their routine of registering people, handing out their equipment, getting us to and from the dunes, etc.
Everything was handled wonderfully. We had a fantastic day on the dunes. We felt safe the entire time. This was due to how informative and instructive the staff was before letting us go. Their top notch equipment was easy to use. Plenty of helmets to choose from to find one that fits just right goggles are available to fit over glasses.
Next time we come back we will definitely use SunBuggy again!!

We were there after a rainy night and were told it was the best conditions to ride on. They weren't lying. The sand was packed which made it such a smooth ride. Then all staff were super friendly and outgoing and made the whole experience better. It definitely made the four hour drive from Chicago worthwhile!!

We had an exceptional time in every way. Renting from Sunbuggy was smooth and quick. In particular, Cathy took extra time and care to get us checked in and out the door, past the paperwork, and through the educational portion of the experience. But she was not the only employee who was personable and made us feel welcome. All the employees from start to finish were exceptionally friendly and helpful. My first time doing this, I was a little anxious, but the employee at the landing to get us prepared and on the road was reassuring, professional, and knowledgeable. Customer service was excellent and actually over and beyond. Prices were good, the vehicle was in excellent condition, and we had a blast on the dunes. So many companies to choose from to rent here, but based on our experience, I would definitely choose Sunbuggy!

SunBuggy in Silver Lake exceeded all expectations for my sister's 29th birthday celebration! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make her day truly special, adding thoughtful touches to ensure it was memorable.

Not only were the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, but they also demonstrated their dedication to customer satisfaction when our buggy got stuck. Without hesitation, they rushed to our aid, providing assistance free of charge. Additionally, they graciously adjusted our return time to account for the time we spent stuck, ensuring we still enjoyed the full experience.

Was a great experience! Things to keep in mind:
They're gonna be busy on the weekends so budget time getting there an hour or hour 30 early and checking in
Parking is mostly (loose) gravel and the roads approaching are slippery, if coming on two wheels / street motorcycles that's something to be mindful of
Cell/data service in the area is spotty for T-Mobile so download offline maps (if coming with a group, cheap walkie talkies would rock)
Familiarize yourself with the map of the dunes ahead of time, easy to waste time getting your bearings
They provide helmets, goggles, and storage super nice and glad to see that used items get sanitized before reuse
All the staff were patient with us and understanding, huge plus!
Bathroom facilities are a bit spotty, would recommend arriving on an empty stomach and saving any big meals/drinks for afterwards anyway 😆

We got an hour on the 450 ATVs for like $83 (tax and fees like $120 total)
If this place stays relatively affordable and keeps their great staff it's a 10/10 experience, highly recommend!

I had a great experience, the customer service was very friendly and they know the business very well in guiding the people with the specific requirements. Safety instructions were good, yet I highly recommend an actual person speaking and explaining along with the video presentation. Pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend SunBuggy for individuals or a group who want to have fun and enjoy dune rides.

Staff was AWESOME. So friendly and helpful. Our UTV had engine overheat while out on the dunes and they got a new one to us in less than 10 minutes. The entire experience exceeded our expectations immensely!

Took my 92 year old mother out onto the dunes for Mother’s Day. What a hoot. Robby was so helpful and kind to my mom. He checked us in, set us up for safety video and gave us a ride to the trailhead and back. Very patient and even agreed to fix my mom’s hair when done. Very sweet and made the trip memorable for us. Equipment was top notch and all staff were very helpful.

The experience was great from start to finish. I can't remember the name of the man who checked us in, but he was very thorough and friendly, especially since he knew it was our first time. Todd was very friendly and great giving us a lift to and from the dunes. He made sure we had a great time. Max was awesome. He checked up on us during our time there, and he advised us on things to try and places to see. He also gave us great tips to make sure we stayed safe. I can't recommend SunBuggy enough. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Fun and excellent tutorial on how to survive and have fun at the same time. Dune buggy is the way to go...Practically had the place to ourselves since it was off season (mid-end September). Definitely coming back again when visiting our Michigan family and friends!

I had an amazing time with my family here. Time goes by so fast when you’re having fun. I would definitely recommend and definitely come back!

More reasonable prices than other businesses on the lake. Easy to reserve online ahead of time. They gave great directions for first time users to navigate the dunes. They even let me borrow some shoes because I didn’t have any closed toed shoes. Oh and they gave my daughter a free tshirt! Cathy and Austin helped us out and both were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend and will be back again! So fun!

Awesome rental company. World class and very professional and friendly. Max who greeted us at the dunes has outstanding customer service and hospitality. He was very good at explaining the ATV'S, the dune layout and the do's and don'ts for safety tips. That was very important to me and made it a much more pleasurable experience. Hats off to max. Highly recommend SunBuggy for a safe and pleasurable ride through the dunes of Michigan.

Very helpful guide. Allie provided in person tutorial and was very nice. They also provided ride from a parking lot if parking is full.
