The new owners are making some great progress! They have your everyday expected staples of beer, wine, liquor and soda to whet your whistle -- but they've really expanded on their candy (my kids went BONKERS) and salty sections (got my Combos for my Oberon 🤙). A lot of Breeze PRO choices too and for only $16.99 I thought I would've had to pay more because I buy them for that in GR. Scouted the grocery section and they've got great assortment of condiments and easy to prepare microwavable things for when my kids get sick of hotdogs. 3 air pumps along the side of the building, firewood, ice. Best of all, the wicked witch is GONE! Good luck my guy it was very nice chatting with you and you've earned my business 😎 see you later this week and each time we camp in Silver Lake!!

Under new ownership and it shows all around. Clean, organized, well stocked with friendly employees.

Very clean and updated store. Owner and employees are the greatest. My go-to store while at Silver Lake. This is a great clean and modern store. They will be having some outstanding artisan food starting this season. Many new updates happening so you gotta stop in and see. Negative reviews are not true at all. Seasonal stores tend to be a little more in price and only have a very short time to be open and can't buy in bulk like Walmart or other year round businesses and the 2020 season hurt them badly with Covid so we need to support them. Let's show them we care ❤
Update: I just taste tested the most juicy delicious burger from the marathon station. Made from fresh ground meat (not frozen patties like the other food places use). I hope they add this to their food menu starting in 2021 season. My hats off to this talented artisan chef. I can't wait till they open and see what else will be on the menu.

I found southern hospitality in Mears. The owner, Jerry and I’m assuming his wife were beyond helpful when I was completely unprepared for a weekend at Silver Lake. The owner even installed my flag after I realized I’d forgotten my tools. I stopped in several times over the weekend. I noticed a lot of very rude and disrespectful tourists (also with little regard for Covid safety mandates) crowding the store during each visit. Let’s all try and treat people like people and not act entitled because you’re on vacation.

As someone who spends the summer in silver lake, I have had many terrible experiences here. The lady is mean and makes people feel unwelcome HOWEVER, it just got bought so we will see how this new owner handles things!!!

New manager and staff are super friendly. Store is clean and well stocked, even carried my favorite beer (which many do not)!
