What a gem! Looking for an ice cream spot, we came across an aweso.e little restaurant! They smoke their own meat on site for what I can only imagine is GREAT BBQ! They also serve sandwiches and wraps. We, however, didn't know that and came after eating dinner. My girls got Jr size cones. The flavor offering is extensive! My husband got a shake (the awake shake) in butter toffee and loved it. Even our doggie got a sundae! I ordered a strawberry chocolate Sunday and it was to die for. BONUS: plenty of outdoor seating, great landscaping, and a great view of the lake!

One of the best places for ice creme in the state let some mears. French fries are crispy. The only down side to the place is they are so popular it takes time to get through the lines and order. Ice creme can be a 15 min wait, and food will be a minimum of 20 minutes. Is absolutely worth it though.

Great ice cream place in Silver Lake, I usually get one of the flurries and they are always delicious and loaded with candy. I want to try their smoked BBQ items because they smell delicious but I'm always full from ice cream!

Ate on their patio. Mac n cheese bites amazing! Do BBQ on site with a nice smoker. Got a mix flurry. Everything was great.

Very minimal indoor seating and parking is cramped. Still highly recommend!

Everything was great. Hot dogs were kinda dry. The fries were perfect and ice cream, too. I'm not sure if this is a common thing, but I got charged twice for my visit 2 days after I left to go back home.

Staff was friendly, wait was relatively short. Food is actually really good, despite being an ice cream place. Also don't be intimidated by Sandzilla (pictured), as you can easily finish one between two people. Prices are a teensy bit high, but nothing astronomical for a tourist location.

Originally came here for ice cream, but I’m getting the fish and chips with a Coke and definitely enjoyed the food. My wife got the chicken nachos along with an order of fries, and it was way too much food, but we made a valiant effort.😜

I have been coming here for a very long time probably since 2016 or 2017. I have never had a bad experience. The owners and workers are all always so friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. The prices are a little high but so worth it for the serving size you get! Also there fries are absolutely AMAZING probably the best fries your gonna get when you come to this area for f Michigan. I always recommend this place yo everybody and anybody. The best Ice-cream around.

The BEST ice cream stop ever. Met the owner and his crew. They are a well oiled machine with smiling faces.

Only con was the long line/wait BUT that's because it is the best ice cream place in Silver Lake. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped for a quick bite. Food came out fast and was nice and hot. The icecream was very good as well. The flurries were a very large size.

Went last night after dinner. Ice cream was good. No complaints about their quality or service. Super friendly girl took our order. They were just getting busy when we got there with one order on front of us being over 10 people. Everyone was working as fast as they could to get the large order done. Next time we are back in town I want to try their Smoked food and not just their ice cream. I didn’t realize they had a smoker on the side of the restaurant until we were in line.

Yum yes! Strawberry milkshake tasted so real!! Great food too! Got a hot dog and brisket. Impressive for a little ice cream shack. Waterfront view and you can watch the dune buggy’s drive by. Fun place. It looks like there investing in a bigger patio with some nice landscaping now which they need. We will be back!

Are both dinner and had some ice cream here. Both were really good. The food took a little long to come out, but the ice cream is something that you could stop by real quick and get. They had a decent selection of food to choose from and a lot of ice cream flavors. Nice place to stop for a bit to eat or a good treat.

A family owned traditional scooped ice cream joint. Walk up service with outdoor seating on the main drag in town at Silver Lake. Very good ice cream with a different and excellent selection of flavors. They also serve VEGAN soft serve ice cream which my vegan family loved. Prices are on par with everythong else and customer service is excellent. They also have a food menu and the dishes looked pretty good.

Food is always very good. Chicken strips and fries are my favorite go to. Staff are friendly and apart from it being a bit pricy it’s definitely worth stopping. Great place to get an ice cream cone after a long day on the dunes as well.
