Silver Sands Resort

The location was amazing! Just steps from numerous entertainment options and dining. The on-site staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful, and warm. They provided excellent customer service when we arrived in the overnight hours. In addition, they provided unmatched support when we needed it. I cannot thank them enough. I'd recommend this establishment to all my family and friends.

My husband and I stayed in cabin 1 for 8 night's this June. We were right on the water which was beautiful! The resort is nestled on a bay that is really shallow and scenic! It's extremely quiet and peaceful. The cabins are old but in great shape! It had a complete kitchen with everything you need. The cabin was spotless! The family who owns the resort are extremely friendly and helpful. We were really happy at the reasonable cost. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely no frills motel. Our room was clean, safe, and a cozy place to rest which is all we needed it to be. Excellent location, and the owners are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit such a fun town.

Great location, very close to the orv park and right on silver lake. Setup is great for families. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a pool, playground, and charcoal grills for cooking. Restaurants in the area are slim so bringing some things to grill isn't a bad idea. Only complaint is in the motel section the wifi is weak inside the rooms.

The most accommodating place. My husband and i were so excited to come spend a long weekend here and go to the dunes with our jeep. With very a short notice mishap we weren’t able to make our trip. The owner was extremely helpful and understanding & we appreciate it so much. There is not kindness out there very much anymore and without being there i would recommend this place to anyone. and looking forward to booking a NEW trip & actually getting to go!

This was a great hotel. Friendly service, helpful staff, nice room in a great location. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. I can't say enough good things about Silver Sands Resort. I will definitely stay there again when in the area.

The owners, Val and Dave, are friendly and very accommodating. The rooms was very clean, spacoius and have a great view. We always feel so comfortable when we are here. It was hot and our room stayed cool and the beds were SO comfortable! As busy as town was this past weekend and we were able to get a great parking spot right in front of our room. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We will be back!

Our specific room was a little small. But had a front row view of downtown traffic circle, Craigs Cruisers and everything that was going through town which was actually kind of cool. Everything was a short walk which was a bonus. Would have liked to have had a microwave in the room. Overall good experience. Nice people. Downtown next to everything.

Very pleasant place to stay. Not fancy, rather very clean and comfortable. I felt at home here -- everyone was so friendly and personable. Our room faced the roundabout in front, so the balcony outside our room was excellent for people-watching. Inside the room, the noise was minimal from outside. The staff were cheerful, helpful, and pleasant.

The room was pleasantly decorated. Comfortable blankets, pillows, and beds. There was enough empty space in the room to move around. The air conditioner worked very well -- that's something that I don't know if they use much in Michigan, but we enjoyed having it.

The entire resort is awesome, a beach area, pool, and a variety of cabins and rooms to stay in. It's in the heart of the Silver Lake area, so you can walk to most anything. There's a quick market across the street for beer, groceries, etc., four restaurants within 50 feet, and two go-kart tracks within 50 feet. Great fun.

The rates here are the most competitive in the area. So others who thought the rooms were less than expected should compare other places rates. I think the rooms were very acceptable for the price, and most importantly I found the staff to be extremely nice and helpful. I stayed here twice this year, and will always try and stay here in the future if rooms are available. Our last stay was in a cabin with two bedrooms for my whole family. It was rustic and a lot of fun.
Bottom line- place is great for the price. If you want better you will pay more to get it.
I hope they keep the price lowest in the area!

They went out of the way to make sure we had a room last minute,making sure our weekend was awesome and we appreciated it so much, we plan on staying here next time we go to silver lake. Also this is like the perfect location right in the middle of everything literally can walk out the room and be walking distance to everything

With these difficult times Silver Sands still provides an excellent experience. The owners and only 4 employees (even the seasonal locations are having employee shortages) keep this destination running. The rooms and the grounds are clean and inviting. With several different areas. motel. suites. cottages. beach house to choose from along with the prestine heated pool to the private beach the Silver Sands has everything for everyone. The rates are good as well considering the location. The Silver Sands is quiet and peaceful at night. The owners go out of their way to help make your stay complete. From giving directions to help with WiFi. I enjoyed myself so much I booked another stay in 3 Weeks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Our first time back to Silver Lake in ten years, and our room here made it a fantastic weekend. Clean Beach House room, near all the festival activities and restaurants. The hosts even let us swim in the pristine pool (twas a warm September weekend) and provided all our needs promptly and graciously. Beautiful views of both moon- and sun-set over Silver Lake from our front deck - we will definitely be back!

It is an exceptionally wonderful place to hang your hat while playing on Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The owners are gracious and very helpful. The units are clean and stocked. The pool is absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place. Plus, it is in town and within walking distance of many popular attractions, restaurants/ice cream shops, Silver Lake and shopping. We stay here whenever we go to the Dunes to play.

Great location. Within walking distance of a few restaurants as well as go karts, putt putt, and bumper boats. Beach within walking distance. Rooms appeared to be recently updated and very clean. Views from upstairs poolside room were amazing. Was able to see the dunes and silver lake. Would love to stay again

What a nice hotel. We had one of the premium rooms. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Very satisfied with the price and service. Close to everything at Silver Lake, most within walking distance. Even has a private beach on Silver Lake for guest to use. Definitely recommend staying here. We will be back. Thank you again.

This was our first trip to Silver Lake. I'm glad I didn't go by the previous review. The motel was in excellent condition; the pool was very clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a great playground and sandbox that the grandchildren loved. The view of the dunes was great. Food, shopping, and entertainment were all within walking distance. My only regret was that our stay was too short. When we come back again, we will certainly stay at Silver Sands Resort.

It was perfect. Balcony has the best seats in town to watch all the buggies and jeeps and wheelers go by on their way to the dunes. The owners make you feel right at home. I’d definitely stay here again...wouldn’t even look elsewhere. It’s a happy place😊

My family was very pleased with how friendly and helpful everyone was at the resort. I wrecked my jeep and they where very helpful with helping us find a mechanic and turning a bad thing into a good thing. Rooms where very clean and family friendly environment. Thanks again. We will be going back!

Loved the setting and the motel.. it was quaint and very clean.. the people that run this resort are very nice and take very good care of it.. I would absolutely stay here again
