Christopher’s Cafe

We stopped at Christopher's Cafe on the way home for brunch. My honey had the chicken fried steak and corned beef hash and I had the meat lovers waffle! Absolutely delicious! This is definitely on our list to visit again!

Everyone knew everyone, but welcomed all the non regulars.
Amazing food, great portions and prices. Our server was so kind and funny.
They had a little homemade candle stand with the cutest candles as well!

Awesome little cafe! The food was great. I got the shrimp basket and the raspberry sweet hot sauce it came with was really good. The kids really enjoyed their food as well. Waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere has a nice American diner feel. Needless to say, I was very impressed with this little place!

We were on a family trip across the state and just passing through Indian River. My Dad suggested Christopher's because he remembered it from a trip he took with his Grandma. It took us longer to get there than we thought, we didn't get there until 1:30 and they close at 2. The staff was so friendly, never rushed us and made us feel so welcome. The food was incredible. It was a great experience. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls, but all of the food was good!

We stopped by here on our way across MI. We are from Dallas visiting family. They served the best omelet I have had in years. It was light fluffy, not overcooked. My husbands skillet was cooked just right, veggies were still a little crisp and it wasn’t swimming in cheese. Our server was so polite and attentive. This was a delightful stop.

Christopher’s Cafe exceeds expectations for a small town spot. The food is excellent and service attentive. The interior is extremely tidy and well kept. The menu is great. How can you miss with breakfast all day? Food came out hot, fresh, and quickly. Would definitely stop here again.

It is a nice little Diner in this small little town.

There was a short wait on a Sunday (I was all by myself and passed some bigger groups) but once in everything is pretty quick.
Had the breakfast burrito. I really liked it. With ~11 Dollar for burrito and a coffee (got one cup to go as well) it didn't feel too expensive.
The only downside is the advertisment on every cup and every table. It takes a bit away that small business feel.

The homemade hash, easy over eggs and freshly baked cinnamon toast were served by friendly wait staff. Was so pleased to have found this place. Clean rest rooms too. Will be back.

We went here on a Sunday around 11am, the restaurant was fairly busy but the staff were all extremely friendly. Sat down in around 10-15 minutes and drinks were there to follow shortly after. Our kid has a dairy allergy and was able to have the burger with bun and they were accommodating to his restrictions.

Stopped in for a delicious breakfast. The Burt Lake Special will be a go to for me. Sausage, egg, large grilled biscuit, absolutely covered in sausage gravy. I had to take half home! If nearby and need a good meal, swing in!

Very good food. The eggs Benedict was fantastic! Fries were awesome, and the chicken lemon rice soup was amazing. Service was great. I am looking forward to the next time I can visit.

My Dad and I stopped here for breakfast on the way home and the food was fantastic! Service was great as well. Highly recommended!

This place knocked it out of the ball park in every aspect!! The food was the best breakfast I've ever gotten in a restaurant in Michigan EVER!!

We found a new favorite restaurant to go to on our way home from the U.P. Great service and food! Hubby loved the home-made corned beef hash and eggs. I enjoyed my pecan pancakes and terrific bacon. Katie was a very attentive server. Thanks!

I have to admit I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to food and service. The food here is amazing. Great presentation, fresh and delicious. Josh and Katie amazing at service. Alot of places need to takes notes on the food and service from here.

Great food and service. Stop here every year on way home from Canada. Homemade hash and eggs. The homemade white bread is awesome!

This is a GREAT FIND! Small town, quaint and cozy and very neat and clean! Staff is very attentive. Food was excellent! This is a new favorite of ours!

Home made Corn Beef Hash was absolutely wonderful, had the Irish omelette which was tasty, toast was a touch burnt. very family friendly environment, Waitstaff were friendly and got the job done in a timely fashion. Very Cozy feeling environment.
