Amazing place to come if you need car repairs done in both a timely manner and for a really good price. Everyone that works here is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. I've been giving them service for about a year now and have never been dissatisfied. Making an appointment over the phone is usually your best bet for getting in at a good time.

I had my vehicle looked at by a shop located in flat rock who quoted me several thousand dollars for an entire replacement of rack n pinion power steering system... BIIIG BUCKS! 💸

Wanting a second opinion and feeling something was off (way off) i found A1 Auto Center on Monroe and Friends Group on Facebook and brought it in. I was very attracted to the fact they cater to women like myself that might not be over familiar with the inner workings of a car. We NEED more businesses like this that look out for their own community.

They got me right in and after an hour, the tech came out with an odd look on his face and said "I don't know why that other shop wanted to replace the entire rack n pinion, we can only find a leaking power steering pump. At best it might just need some new hoses. At worst it needs a $500 pump and that's it!!" First time visiting this shop and they've saved me several thousand dollars already. That's a lot of money.

Why do some of these other shops find women as easy targets to rip off? HOW is that a good business practice? He ended up losing a ton of business with that poor decision. Not only myself but others that get caught up in that scam. Im sincerely disappointed we have shops out there that feel this is acceptable. Its not!

Especially now with this insane inflation amoung us?

Great all the way around. They were able to work with my schedule and both the ladies in the office and the mechanic was great and even showed me my faulty fuel lines he replaced .Quality work and fair price, highly recommend.

I'm grateful for coming here! I was helped with a suspension problem. A clucking noise coming from my front end. I talked with Heather and she added everything I told her about what I felt was wrong with my car to my notes which was super helpful. I got my car back, fixed, with a low price. Thank you A1!

Made an appointment, dropped car off the night before, they inspected the issue and called within 1 hour of them opening. Much better than going to any of the dealers around here where appointment times are not followed. Will continue to use them. Prices for repair were great also.

I thought the ladies at the desk were very professional and seemed to be highly knowledgeable about the car and even though I didn't have my car serviced there they told me where I could have it serviced but to be honest if I have anymore car trouble that is the place I'm going to go

The ONLY place to go for car repairs! We have been using them for multiple vehicles over many years, I always trust them, their work, and their quoted prices. The wonderful staff is friendly and personable, and they always give you a detailed report and estimate BEFORE they work on anything, and they really understand that people's cars and trucks can not be sitting for days, so they work as quickly as they possibly can to finish it, finish it right, and yet never using shortcuts or doing shoddy work. These people are all great. I'll continue to take vehicles there until they close the doors and retire!

by far best place in monroe to take your car in for work.soon as you drop your car off the women in the front are very friendly n know alot about cars and want to help you get your car back on the rd asap.the best Mechanics around here that I've ever took my truck too they have always done me and my family right everytime .thanks a1 for always doing a great job with our Is vehicles.

Excellent service. They diagnosed my 2001 S10's failure to start as a failing battery and found some possible problems with the battery light being on as well, offering to investigate the issue further without charging me unless I authorized more tests.

Everyone here are very nice, prompt and experienced and reasonably priced. I have taken my ma car there for a few years and do not have any complaints, would never go anywhere else!

I've been going to A-1 for over 30 years now. I feel the staff is very knowledgeable & family friendly. There are numerous employees that seem to be "lifers". That alone says something. It's nice to go into a facility and see the same employees year after year. In my opinion, A-1 Auto Center is top notch.

They are very professional, not ridiculously costly. I honestly can't remember the last time I took any of my cars to a repair shop and have gooten my vehicle back same day. I'm very satisfied, I would recommend A1 to anyone looking for honest work. I recently had an engine mount replaced on a 06 grand prix gt.

I am from Michigan and now live in Ohio. My alternator went while visiting and ended up being towed to A1. They handled all the warranty details, kept me informed and even arranged so I could pick up my car after their normal business hours. Very happy with results and service.

Excellent service. Relative was traveling thru town and car broke down. Staff was very accommodating and with reasonable cost. They spent quite a bit of time but charged just the basic fee. Thanks A-1!

Straightforward and honest. They do a great job, let you know when you need to maintenance or can get away with it for longer. Easygoing and very friendly. I highly recommend.

Professional customer service. Asked them varuous questions about a previous repair and they went straight to my car, lady in front counter sent one of their mechanics and a supervisor and the first fixed the issue, the supervisor was very courteous and explained to me what was in his opinion the second issue i am having and what to look for in the future. Lady at the front counter, enjoys her line of work you can tell right away she organized these machanics to help me. A-1, the Rolls Royce in auto center services.

The staff here is UNBELIEVABLE. Steve and Annette were incredibly kind and helpful, helping us out while we were in a sticky insurance situation while traveling out of town. I am just floored. Thank you guys.
