This is one of my favorite small businesses in the Rockford area! I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant to anyone who lives in Byron/the Rockford area or is driving through the area. The coffee, food, and bakery items are delightful. They have great customer service, and not only are they kind to their customers, but they also support the Rockford area youth by sponsoring a non-profit. The people I have recommended to go here have not been disappointed.

Quick service, chill ambiance, friendly workers. The spinach & feta pastry I ate was tasty & my partner enjoyed her “Christmas in a Cup” coffee drink.

Absolutely the best coffee shop in this area... The staff are so polite, always smiling and I love the choices they have. The strawberry latte was amazing and love the atmosphere, it absolutely reminded me of any small cafe over in Seattle!

The coffee here is top notch. The staff is super nice and give great recommendations. The food is fresh made and very tasty. For a simple cafe, this place is really good. Definitely going to be coming here more often. The atmosphere is very relaxed. They have wifi and plenty of seating. UPDATE: The tuna croissant is really good too. The iced caramel macchiato is also very good.

This place is ALWAYS hoppin! We call ahead to order and our items are fresh and AMAZING! The staff is kind and happy to be there. The energy bites are a favorite.... and the Smores cold foam cold brew. EVERYTHING we have ordered has been delicious. Cute place and cozy atmosphere.

I've been dining here for year's since they've opened, and they have maintained their consistency and friendly service the entire time, which is so rare these days to find.
Coffee is always perfectly hot and has the taste and aroma you'd fine in much bigger cities. Baked goods are fresh made and pair so well with the coffee. We're extremely lucky to have a place this good in our small town.

Great early afternoon getaway. Ordered their large organic tea ($2.5) and large biscuits and gravy ($7) ~ was light and delicious. Will be coming back! Interior design was modern and music was on-point.

I met to post this months ago and my intentions finally caught up with me. Overall, every part of this business is top notch! Great food, great deserts, and a customer service that far above the average. I am currently eating a scrumptious blueberry muffin along with my Chicken salad sandwich. I am new fan of their Raspberry limeade cold drink. Give this local business a try—you won’t regret it!

The best coffee shop! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my go to is the almond poppyseed muffin and a pistachio cold foam could brew! 1000 stars!

I recently went here for the first time, and this place is so cute!! Great place to get a coffee, and the building itself is really lovely, and has plenty of space to sit. Staff is great too!

What an amazing breakfast and coffee place!! Walk in to order a coffee or drink, or stay and eat! We just had ths iced coffee and gluten-free chai bites, amazing recipe!! We will definitely be back soon to eat breakfast as what we saw people eating looked delicious!! Very nice atmosphere too with good views outside, outdoor dining, and a fireplace for a cozy cold-weather experience!!

My daughter just moved here. It was a wonderful find. Staff extremely nice. I got the biscuits and gravy on Sat. It was great! My daughter got a gluten free wrap which she also loved. Only bummer was i wanted to go back before i went back home and they were closed on sun and mon. Looking forward to next time i go there! Also, Good coffee.

Wonderful food, staff and drinks here. The Iced caramel macchiato is the best I've ever had. They also have a good selection of gluten free options when it comes to baked goods!

I used to say "Please don't let this place fail!" There had been a lot of turnaround in that space prior to them getting in there. But I'm not worried about that anymore.

They do a wonderful job with their coffee AND baked goods. And their customer service is refreshing. They do their best to remember your name, and make you feel welcome. I'm trying to discover all their kinds of coffee because there are so many options. And I can't wait to see what's in the baked goods case in the morning.

And it seems that plenty of other people feel the same way. They're all SORTS of busy these days!

The coffee is better than Starbucks or Dunkins. The food is delicious and you have dozens of healthy options. Service is quick and immediate. The new location is gorgeous and a huge improvement on space and seating. Totally recommend.

My wife and I come here often for lunch. Excellent food. I always get the meatloaf sandwich and I'm never disappointed. Staff is great and service is very good. Highly recommended.

We ordered cupcakes and a couples cake through Sweetbean for our wedding last month - it was all absolutely delicious! Highly recommend using Sweetbean for your event.

I love Sweet Bean! It’s wonderful to have this level of quality and service in our small town! I just had a piece of their quiche and it was phenomenal!!! The drive thru is a plus and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend!!!
