Heritage Baptist Church

It is always strange rating churches since only the Lord Jesus should, but I was here for the first time and I gotta say, this new pastor that I heard about was preaching the word! He's like a quieter and less aggressive Matt Chandler! Nice people, and great building that looks redesigned.

Santa stopped at our house and filled our home with so much excitment laughter and joy. In short my kids grandmother is in the hospital and at the time sitting with santa my son wished for his mimi (grandmother) to wake up and get better for christmas and in what doctors considered a mirical was woken from her comma and taken off the ventalator intime for christ mas eve. Thank you to everyone who made the santa visits possible. our kids christmas was brought so much joy because of your community! Thank you so much i pray all that are part of the congregation get to read this and knows the difference that was made for our family!!!

Currently we are looking for a church to serve at here in our hometown of Monroe. My wife and I spent a lot of time looking diligently into many local churches in the immediate area as we really considered what is the right church for our family. Though there are many wonderful local churches here in Monroe, Heritage is a church that really stood out to us in particular.

We met with pastor Nate shortly after our decision to look further into what HBC is all about. Pastor Nate was extremely attentive and welcoming. He graciously gave us a considerable amount of time to address all of our questions. Right after our meeting, my wife and I both agreed we felt like we’ve known pastor Nate for a very long time though we had literally just met for the first time. That was something very special for us and really was the confirmation we needed to know that HBC is the right place for us. The church building is beautifully designed and maintained. The location of the church is very easy to find as well.

We will be attending HBC in the upcoming Sundays ahead very soon as we transition over. Meanwhile we are so excited for the new season God is bringing us too. We can’t wait to meet the whole church family at HBC. I believe there are some great things ahead and in store for Heritage.
