I am blessed to have Dr. Savage as my doctor. Two months ago, he did a hip replacement on me that has turned my life around for the better. I am a person who asks a lot of questions and he patiently responded to all of them in great detail before the surgery and after. As a result I had total trust he would do a great job. His knowledge and expertise was obvious and I will always be very grateful to him for helping me.

Dr. Albert Savage is OUTSTANDING! Probably the best doctor I’ve ever seen. He’s extremely knowledgeable and he does not rush the appointment. Really takes the time to help you. He’s been helpful regarding knees and hips. The office does their own x-rays and typically has you do them the same day you see the dr but before the appointment. 100% worth the wait. It can take 1-2 months to get an appointment. Once you get an appointment you can call back and see if another day earlier opened up.

The receptionist is so friendly and welcoming, wait time is minimal and Dr. Savage is a caring, brilliant physician. He listens and offers ideas for treatment. I’ve never had a better experience! Definitely worth the drive from Mobile.

Dr. Detterman is by far the best doctor I have ever been to. He is very professional and makes my situation easy to understand. He always makes me feel at ease, and thoroughly explains what is wrong and what needs to be done to make me better. His bedside manner and sense of humor is a big plus and hard to find in a doctor. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Carter has performed two surgeries on me and I have been very pleased with the results. He takes time to explain everything and I feel that he cares about me and my outcomes from the surgeries.

It is what you hope for and need. Brief wait- they respect your time, friendly staff from reception, to Nurses, Drs and Check Out. Dr Carter is exceptionally skilled, offering specific diagnosis and very insightful guidance, all in a professionally positive demeanor. I cannot say enough good things regarding my multiple different appointments. I highly endorse.

First time with Dr. Determann and I was very impressed. He was was thorough in his assessment, listened well and I left with a good care plan for my knee pain. I worked 30 years in the medical industry with Doctors and Medical Professionals. I wish they all worked this way but experience tells us otherwise. I would certainly recommend him.

Dr. Savage is absolutely wonderful. I had a very traumatic fall and broke my hip on a Friday night and he performed surgery on Saturday to repair it. He is very kind, supportive, and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Savage has been helping me through this terrible experience since March and is definitely rated as a 10 (ten).

Dr. Carter just did my 2nd full knee replacement and everything is working out fine. He is very knowledgeable and very professional. He is a caring and helpful doctor. Just before surgery Dr. Carter said a prayer with me and that meant more than anyone can imagine. Everyone involved with Bayside Orthopedics is the best. They are all a caring group of professionals.

I have nothing but positive words for our experience with Dr Determann and Bayside Orthopaedic office. We were treated with friendly, efficient staff -- front office, X-Ray department and nurses. I pre-registered online before each visit so the wait time was very short.
Dr. Determann was kind, encouraging and thorough in answering our questions. He was professional in his explanations and did not make us feel rushed. It was an added blessing that he prayed with us in the hospital just prior to my surgery. We have and will continue to recommend him to others.

As usual Dr. Determann was absolutely amazing, and his PA was outstanding as well. Always very professional they actually listen to patient. Plus he roots for the correct college football team!!

I have had trouble with my feet for 10 years and sever pain for the last 2 years. Dr. Determann came in and looked at the X-Rays and we made a game plan. Thank goodness for him, not just another bottle of medicine and I’ll see you in 3 months. Awesome doctor and staff. I can’t wait to get this procedure done so I can walk normal again.

Dr. Determann is a wonderful doctor. I would not go to any other doctor. He operated on my left shoulder and helped me through hip and also elbow pain. He has the BEST bed side manner and explains everything to you so you understand exactly what is wrong.

The staff was friendly and engaging. Dr. Cater was friendly, caring and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in depth and did not rush the appointment time. Highly recommend!

I like Dr. Savage very much he is considerate of his patients and listens to their concerns. He is professional kind and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone who needed an orthopedic surgeon. He has taken extremely good care of me and all his patients seem to like him as well as I do.

Dr. Carter was great! I had been having pain in my knee and 4 x-rays were taken. Dr. Carter explained in great detail each of the x-rays and the condition of my knee (which was OK). Online registration was easy. I was at the Bayside Orthopedic office for about 40 minutes. I would go back to DR. Carter and would highly recommend.

Everyone we encountered was outstanding. Dr Determann was very patient and personable. He took time to really listen and explain everything very well. Would definitely choose him again! Great experience. Highly recommend.

Asked questions. Understood my issues and concerns. Took corrective action to alleviate my pain. Will follow up if have any more issues. Very courteous. Highly recommend!!
Also, the whole process was fairly quick. Unlike other doctor offices.
